Jackson has been around for 50 years and has always specialized in concealed door closers for storefront doors.  They did have a brief period where they made surface closers between 1990 and 1996.  The Jackson Door Closer 20-330 has been the leading door closer for overhead-concealed closers since the late 1960’s.

We carry most Jackson closers in stock and ship orders within 24 hours.  Special sizes, finishes and some Jackson door parts are factory orders and may take up to 2 weeks.

Jackson Door Closer Models

Jackson 20-330 Series – The Jackson door closer 20-330 was introduced in the late 1960’s for use in aluminum framed glass storefront doors and are still used today.

Jackson S200 Series – The S200 Jackson door closer was a standard template (3/4” x 9-1/16”) sized closer.  This Jackson door closer was produced between 1995 and 2004 or so.  If you have one of these, they can be easily replaced by any of the standard template closers we offer.

Jackson S300 Series – The S300 was also a standard template door closer, but was a more heavy-duty version of the S200 Jackson door closer.  The cylinder was sized, and the production run was the same as the S200.  The S300 Jackson closer can also be replaced by any of the ¾” x 9-1/16” hole spacing closers.

Jackson S390 Series – The S390 series Jackson door closer was a Grade 1 closer.  This Jackson closer is easily replaced by any of the standard template (3/4” x 9-1/16”) closers.  Give us a call at RBADoor for recommendations.

History of Jackson Door Closers

For over 50 years Jackson has been manufacturing high-quality door hardware for the aluminum and tempered glass industry.  Their overhead concealed 20-330 door closer, 885, 1085 and 1095 panics and pivots were industry leaders when they were introduced in the late 1960’s.  Today they are owned by C.R. Laurence Company, Inc.
