The Jackson Panic Device Top Bolt Guide Assembly is used on the 1085, 1285, and 2086 hardware. The piece works by sliding over the top rod when the device is opened. This keeps the rods retracted until the Plunger hits the Trip Assembly when it is closing. Upon hitting the Trip Assy, the plate slides over and the rods retract.
