The Door Push Plate 58 is the only plate we have that is a forged plate.  The forging process involves heat and pressure or pounding.  The result is a very heavy and durable metal.  This plate measures 3-1/2" wide by 15" tall, with a thickness of 7/32".  This is one of the thickest plate we offer, and is the most sturdy.

Finishes

The Corner Guard 310 are a great way to protect corners in areas of high traffic and high abuse, such as warehouses and hospitals.  Fabricated from 16 gauge (.050") thick metal they measure 3-1/2" on both arms, and can come in any length.  Standard lengths are 36", 42" and 48", but we have the capability to modify to your specifications. They come standard with screw mounting, but other options are available.

With the Handicap Door Pull 18 you are able to get a closed fist behind the pull, which makes it a great ADA Door Pull. Shipped with screws. Also known as a Single Arm Pull, Handicap Grip, ADA Door Pull or Handle.  The handle is constructed of cast aluminum, or brass and then plated. The base plate measures 1-3/4" by 2-3/4", the handle projects our 3-1/2".  Ships with #6 by 5/8" matching finish sheet metal screws.

The Door Pull Plate 5810 is 7/32" thick forged plate made of solid aluminum, brass or stainless steel depending on the finish. The Door Pull GHE10, handles come with thru bolts and finish washers. The plate has counter sunk holes and sheet metal screws for mounting. 3-1/2 x 15 inch plate only.

The Handicap ADA Hands-Free Door Pull BM4511 is an ADA compliant. You can hook your forearm/wrist into the open end to open a non-latching door. The pull is constructed of stainless steel and is available in brushed stainless steel, powder coated flat black or powder coated dark bronze. The plate measures 4 x 16 inches and the grip is tack-welded to the plate and also has a 5/16-18 thread for thru bolting. The grip is 1-1/4 diameter by 8 inches. Ships with 6 mounting screws and one 5/16-18 thru bolt with finished washer in matching finish.

The Door Pull GHE26 has 8" centers and is constructed of solid aluminum, brass or stainless steel, and is 1" in diameter, handles come with thru bolts. The plate come predrilled with counter sunk holes and sheet metal screws in matching finiish.

Floor Door Stop Heavy Duty 540

This Floor Mounted Door Stop is a personal favorite. It is extremely heavy duty, and is ideal for areas of high vandalism. Includes the 4-1/2" lag bolt & lag shield. The rubber base is 3" in diameter and is 2-5/8" high.  Uses a 3/4" diameter hole for the lag sheild.

The Door Pull Offset #39 Handle is constructed of either solid aluminum, brass or stainless steel. The handle is 1" diameter tubing with a 2-3/4" offset and 2-3/4" projection. This is the most common type of handle you use today.  Just about every aluminum framed storefront door has a version of this handle. This handle is available in 8", 10", 12" and 18" centers on the mounting holes. The back to back mounting is for Metal or Wood Doors that are 1-3/4 thick. Included fastener is threaded into one of the handles, and the Stud End has fits into the inside handle and is held in place by a set screw on the handle.

The process is called Poly Vapor Deposition or PVD, which is why we hear the name Lifetime Polished Brass Kick Plate PVD. Because the finish is an artificial brass, it does not have to be clear coated, so it will never tarnish. The Lifetime Polished Brass finish cost the same as the Solid Brass Polished Kick Plates.

The number of holes on the screw mounted plates is determined by an industry wide standardize template. Anodized Aluminum Door Kick Plates are the most cost effective, least expensive. The aluminum plates are 16 gauge, or .050″ thick and have a brushed or satin finish. They have an anodized finish to resist corrosion and we find these in many commercial buildings through out the United States.

The Hands-Free/Foot Door Pull BM46 can be used as a ADA compliant hands-free door pull when mounted 42" above the finished floor. Or as foot pull when mounted at the bottom of the door. The Pull is 4" x 5" and is made of .090 thick stainless steel. Ships with sex bolts and screws for 1-3/4" door. Available in Brushed Stainless Steel, Flat Black Powder Coat and Dark Bronze Powder Coat.

Lifetime Satin Nickel PVD Door Kick Plate

The Satin Nickel is a popular finish we have been seeing the last 15 years. These plates are 16 gauge or .050″ thick.
The Lifetime Satin Nickel Door Kick Plate has a 16 gauge (.050″ thick) base metal, that is then plated with a artificial satin finish that is then brushed. The Polished Stainless Steel Door Kick Plate is 16 gauge, or .050″ thick. Stainless steel offers one of the best material for commercial applications. They are very hard, and do not dent easily. The also offer the best corrosion resistances out there.  We often have people looking for Brushed Chrome or Polished Chrome, but the appearance of the two finishes next to each other is very difficult to tell which is which. Also a brushed chrome or polished chrome kick plate would be a brass plate which is then chrome plated and brushed or polished depending on the plate. Brass is a soft metal that dents easily, and also does not offer the corrosion resistance that stainless steel does. Since stainless steel is stable in any environment, they do not have to clear coat the plate.

The Brushed Stainless Steel Door Kick Plate 18 Gauge .037 is the lightest duty stainless steel plate we offer .  Stainless steel offers one of the best material for commercial applications. They are very hard, and do not dent easily. The also offer the best corrosion resistances out there.  This plate is ideal as a replacement for Brushed Chrome kick plates. Brushed Chrome Kick Plates are usually a bronze plate that is chrome plated. The problem with bronze is it is a soft metal and dents easily. The stainless steel plates are a lot harder and more resistant to dents. Brushed chrome looks identical to brushed stainless steel.  We only use type 304 stainless.

The Door Pull 25 is made of 3/4" round stock in either solid, Aluminum, Brass or Stainless Steel. The handle has a 2-3/8" projection from the door, and 1-5/8" clearance from the door to the back of the handle.  It comes standard with thru bolts and finish washers, but can be special ordered if you would like the handle mounted back to back or surface mounted. Also known as a Door Handle or Door Grip.

Solid brass kick plate, polished to mirror finish.  We can no longer get the solid brass plates, the lifetime polished brass will be shipped in its place.

The standard Polished Brass Door Kick Plate is a solid brass kick plate that is polished and then clear coated to prevent oxidation. These plates are 16 gauge or .050″ thick. A draw back of the Polished Brass Plates is oxidation. If the plate becomes scratched or dented, there is a good probability that the clear coat delaminates and moist could get under the surface. When this happens, the plate will tarnish. The brass base material is softer, so the chances of them becoming scratched or dented in commercial applications is pretty high.

I would highly recommend the Lifetime Brass if these plates are going to be mounted outside. Solid brass is soft, and tends to dent easily and the clear coat can be compromised. The Lifetime Brass plates do not require a clear and will last a lot, lot longer!
