The Dor-o-Matic 1690/1990 Retractor PB35 has been used since the 1970's.  The manufacture has changed names in the last 5 years and now goes by Falcon Panic Hardware. This piece is used the 990, 1690 and 1990 devices.  The pinion rides inside this bracket to raise and lower the internal rods. Parts used with the retractor are the Pinion (G199005), Traveller (G199028) and the Pinion Bushing (G199046). Retractor measures 1-7/8" long by 7/8" wide by 1/4" thick.

Doromatic PB48 Strike Shim Package Of 10 Pieces

This Dor-o-Matic product is for the PB48 Top Strike. This is the shim that goes under the top strike. The plate measures 1" x 1-1/16" with 4 holes. The mounting holes are 11/16" x 11/16" on center. They are only sold in packages of 10.

The Falcon Doromatic Latch Screw PB17 is also known as the SCREW.1029 and the GPB17.  The screw is a 10-32-1/4" with an undercut head.  This screw is used to hold the top and bottom latches on the door for the 1690 and 1990 series devices.

The Dor-O-Matic 2390 231CA Cylinder Kit converts your 2390 exit only to a Night Latch or Hold Back function key lock.  All the hardware is included in the package to convert your device, except for the Mortise Cylinder.  Housing measures 4-1/2" tall by 1-11/16" wide with a 1-1/8" projection.  We send the 231CA which includes the Schlage B502-191 Cam.   The 239CA is the same kit, but without the Schlage Cam.

The Dor-o-Matic 1690/1990 Top Strike PB48 is used on the Dor-o-Matic 1690, 1990 and 2390 Concealed Vertical Rod Exit and Panic Devices. The plate measures 1" x 1-1/16" with 4 holes. The mounting holes are 11/16" x 11/16" on center. The diameter of the pin is 7/16" and projects out 5/32". Ships with mounting screws and 3 shim plates.  The Dor-o-Matic Panic Devices have been around since the late 1960’s, but have most recently been known as the Falcon Panic Device from a name change they had in about 2008.  They are basically the same device, with the same parts, just a different name plate.  Falcon part # PB48.

The Dor-o-Matic 1990 Housing and 1090 2090 Inactive Housing DCX has been around since the early 1970's.  Although it is now called a Falcon 1990, it is still the same device.  This housing is also the inactive housing on the Dor-O-Matic / Falcon 1090 and 2090 panic hardware.  The housing includes all of the interior springs, arm, and dogging screw.  Housing measures 7-1/2" long by 1-3/16" wide.  The center to center distance of the mounting studs is 6-1/4".

The Falcon SC71 Door Closer used to go by the Doromatic SC71. This is a higher quality door closer at a more affordable price. This closer offers adjustable closing, latching and back check speeds, along with adjustable spring tension. It has the ability to be mounted on the push, pull or top jamb and is non handed. This closer is considered a Grade 1 closer, which is the highest grade you can get. The hole spacing is 2-3/8” x 6-3/4”, which is the same hole spacing as the Norton 7500 and Yale 4400 door closers. The Doromatic Exit Device 2090 Active Case is for use on the 1090 and 2090 panic hardware.  This device has been around since the early 1970's, and is now called the Falcon 2090 Active Case, but it is the same piece.  Includes all of the interior hardware. Just unscrew or loosen the three set screws and remove your old case and install and tighten the three set screws. Housing measures 7-1/2" long by 1-3/16" wide, mounting studs have a 6-1/4" center to center distance.

The Dor-O-Matic 1690/1790/2390 Dogging Hex Shaft is the piece that your dog key (allen wrench) fits into the lock the device in the open or dogged position.  This shaft is used on the 1690, 1790, and 2390 device.  The Dor-o-Matic Panic Devices have been around since the late 1960’s, but have most recently been known as the Falcon Panic Device from a name change they had in about 2008.  They are basically the same device, with the same parts, just a different name plate.  The part that the hex key fits into is only about 1/4" deep, because of that these tend to get rounded out, so the key will not move the shaft. 

To remove the old shaft just pull with a pair of Channel Locks or Pliers.  To reinstall, just press it back in to position, you might have to bend the holding tabs back down, but we very rarely have to do this.  The manufacture part number on this is SHAFT.101.

The Doromatic 1790 rim device is typically used in applications where maintenance is a concern because the rim device has fewer parts and pieces than current exit devices. The result is less maintenance and adjustment. The streamlined design has no openings for chains, reducing the risk for code infringements and offering increased building security by eliminating the possibility of tampering and forced entry through the use of coat hangers and other tools. The Doromatic 1790 may also be used to retrofit a Doromatic 2090 series crossbar device.
