LCN Sentronic Door Closer 4310ME

Standard LCN Sentronic Door Closer 4310ME series closer shipped with a 24V or 120V cylinder (please specify) on a mounting plate, metal cover, Swing-Free arm, track, track roller, and wood and machine screw pack. See 4310ME Series pages 23 & 24 for options. Sized cylinders for interior doors to 4’0”. Functions as full rack and pinion door closer when hold-open is not engaged or current is interrupted with Swing-Free arm engaged. Handed for right or left swinging door. The Von Duprin Dogging Spring 090041 is the spring that activates the Dogging Hook # 090044.  These do occasionally fail, we sell them individually.  It is # 3 on the diagram.

The LCN Door Closer Spring cush Arm 3077SC is an optional arm offered by LCN.  The arm features a solid forged steel main arm and forearm with a spring loaded stop in the soffit shoe, which makes this arm ideal for abusive parallel arm applications.  Specify your current closers model number when ordering. The Norton Door Closer Parallel Arm Bracket is the bracket shipped with the Norton 1600, 7500, 8301, 8501 and 9300 series closers.  This bracket is also used by Yale on there 2300, 50, 3301, 3501 and 4400 door closers.  The factory part number on this is 1618A for Norton and 289A for Yale.

The International 8600 Dogging Assembly is used on the 8510S, 8710S, 8610S, 8810S, 8501S, 8710S, and many more.

The Falcon / Doromatic Door Closer SC81 is an affordable, higher quality, standard template closer.  This closer offers adjustable closing, latching and back check speeds, along with adjustable spring tension.  It has the ability to be mounted on the push, pull or top jamb and is non handed.  This closer is considered a Grade 1 closer, which is the highest grade you can get.  The hole spacing is 3/4” x 12”, which is the same hole spacing as the Norton 8301, 8501 and the Yale 3301, 3501 Door Closers.  We ship the SC81 Rw/PA.

The LCN Door Closer 4111 is known as the Smoothee, and is one of the heaviest duty door closers made. If you have a building were you have a high traffic and abusive, especially exterior doors, then this is the closer. The 4111 is an application specific closer, meaning it will only work when mounted on the door, on the push side. This is known as a parallel arm application. The cylinder is fully adjustable and will work on doors up to 56" exterior door, and can be adjust down to ADA required levels. We ship the 4111 EDA model, which is a non hold open arm, on this page. The cylinder mounting holes are 2-1/2" by 6".

The Falcon SC71 Door Closer used to go by the Doromatic SC71. This is a higher quality door closer at a more affordable price. The Dor-o-Matic 1990/2090 Cross Bar CBAR is used on the 990, 1090, 1990 and 2090 Dor-o-Matic and Falcon panic hardware.  The bar is 41" and 48" long and is easily cut in the field with a chop or hack saw.  The bar is constructed of extruded aluminum and then anodized to the correct finish.  The slot where the screw threads in is not threaded, but the screws, sold separately, are thread forming screws. The 41" bars are in stock, the 48" bars have a 3 week lead time

The Dark Bronze Cross Bars are a very dark bronze and will be closer to black.

The Von Duprin Dogging Hook 090044 is the piece that grabs the push bar mechanism and keeps it in the dogged position.  The does wear out, but it takes a long time.  This piece is used on the 22, 33A, 35A, 98 and 99 series devices made after 1997.  We sell this part individually and it is #5 on the diagram.

The Dor-O-Matic 1690/1790/1990/2090 Pinion PB5 has been in use since the 1970's.  This gear or pinion is what activates the latch or the rods on the 990, 1090, 1690, 1790, 1990 and 2090 devices.  The Dor-o-Matic Panic Devices have been around since the late 1960’s, but have most recently been known as the Falcon Panic Device from a name change they had in about 2008.  They are the same device, with the same parts, just a different name plate.  The manufacture part number on this is CAM.102, PB5 or PB140.

Dor-o-Matic 1590 C/Case CVR PB203

Covers the latch bolt assembly on the 1590 Rim Device.  Made of die cast metal and electrostatically painted black.

The Sargent Door Closer 1331  is a standard template closer with the 3/4” x 12” hole spacing.  This closer is a great replacement for the Norton 8000 Series or Yale 3000 Series Door Closers.  The closer is constructed of a cast aluminum body and has a heat treated steel pinion and rack.  The 1331 has the ability to be mounted on the push, pull or top jamb, and is non handed.  We stock the aluminum finish, but also have the dark bronze finish, it just might take an extra day or so.  We ship the 1331-JUO.

The Von Duprin Dogging Adapter Spring 090042 is the clip that holds the dogging shaft in the assembly.  We sell these individually, and it is the #2 item on the diagram.

The Dor-o-Matic 1690/1990 Top Strike PB48 is used on the Dor-o-Matic 1690, 1990 and 2390 Concealed Vertical Rod Exit and Panic Devices. The plate measures 1" x 1-1/16" with 4 holes. The mounting holes are 11/16" x 11/16" on center. The diameter of the pin is 7/16" and projects out 5/32". Ships with mounting screws and 3 shim plates.  The Dor-o-Matic Panic Devices have been around since the late 1960’s, but have most recently been known as the Falcon Panic Device from a name change they had in about 2008.  They are basically the same device, with the same parts, just a different name plate.  Falcon part # PB48.

The Norton Door Closer Regular Arm is the standard arm that is shipped with the 9300, 1600, 8301, 8501 and 7500 door closers.  It will also work with the Yale 2300, 50, 3301, 3501 and 4400 series door closers.  This arm has had a bunch of different factory numbers over the years, including 1620-1, 7701-1 and 400-1.

Falcon Dor-o-Matic 1590 Latch Bolt Assembly 4270107603

Replacement Latch Bolt Assembly for the Falcon Dor-o-matic 1590.   In the old days you could just replace the PB355 (SPRING.127) spring, but as of November 2015 you have to replace the complete latch head assembly.
