The Dorma RTS88 Door Closer is an overhead concealed closer for both single and double-acting doors.  It is one of the more popular overhead concealed closers on the market today.  The RTS88 will consist of a steel cam, rollers, and springs housed in a compact cast iron body.  Closers will be capable of being installed in minimum 1-3/4" x 4" headers. RTS88 will have maximum door opening to 90º or 105º, trim conditions permitting. Sweep and latch speed will be controlled by two noncritical adjustment valves from 90º or 105º to closed. Built-in pressure relief valve will protect the closer from abuse caused by forced closing. A mechanical backcheck combined with a positive stop at 90º or 105º will be provided to protect the door and frame. The RTS88 closer will be available with hold open at 90º or 105º, or without hold open. The product shown here is just the replacement cylinder.

The Dorma 8831 Top Arm for RTS88 is for use on Single and Double Acting doors.  This arm is known as a side load arm, and usually has a notch in the door at the top to access the arm fastening block.  This piece measures 10-1/2" long by 1-3/8" wide at the widest part, and is 1/2" thick.  This is the standard arm in the RST01 and RST02 Packages.

The Von Duprin Strike 1409 Blade Stop is used on just about every Von Duprin Rim Device when door frame protection is needed.  We see this strike on many Narrow Stile door setups.  The strike measures 1-7/8" by 1-3/4" outside dimension. The strike has a projection of 1/2".  The strike is constructed die cast metal and the blade is made of stainless steel.

The Dorma 8812 Offset Slide Arm for RTS88 is used on in the RST31, RST30, RTS29, RST28, RST27, RTS26 and RTS25 packages.  This arm is used on Single Acting Doors.  The track measures 13" long by 1-3/16" wide by 7/16" thick.   This is the arm you probably have if you are using 3/4" offset hinges or 4-1/2" wide butt hinges.

Replacement Chassis Cover for the Dorma 9300 Rim Device

The Dorma 8835 Top Arm for RTS88 is for use on Double or Single Acting doors that have a 1" top rail.  This arm is used on aluminum framed glass storefront doors. The arm is 10-7/8" long and 1-3/8" wide.  The spindle lug 1" thick.  This is the standard arm on the RST07 and RST10 packages.

The Dorma 8832 Top Arm with Channel for RTS88 is for use on Double and Single Acting Doors.   We usually find this arm on wood doors.  This arm is 10-5/8" long by 1-1/2" wide at the widest point, and is 5/8" thick.  It is the standard arm in the RST04, RST05 and RST06 packages.

The Von Duprin Panic Device 880K Trim is for use with the 88 series devices only.  Plate measures 3" wide by 14-3/16" long with an 1-5/8" diameter bore for cylinder. Knob projects out 2-3/4".  We do not sell many of these anymore, due to ADA requirements, but they are still available.

The Von Duprin 5654 Aluminum Mullion 7'2" comes prepped for two of the 299 strikes.  The removable mullion also ships with the 154 Mullion Stabilizers.  Mullions are 11/16" wide on face closest to the door and 2-3/8" at the widest point. The depth is 3-1/8" with a wall thickness of 1/8 ́ ́.  The 5654 is constructed of aluminum.  Everything is included, except the the 299 strikes.  The taller ones are also available, please call for pricing.

This floor mounted door holder has been around since the 1960's. It used to go by the name Glynn Johnson GJF41A or F41A, and was brought over to the H.B. Ives line in the 1990's and now goes by the part # FS41. Many schools and hospitals have this door holder in use today. The Cal Royal Products 300 Series Door Closer comes in two versions.   One version is the size 3 to 6 spring, which would be for larger exterior doors.  The 3 to 6 spring size is for doors 36" to 48" wide.  The second version is the size 1 to 4 spring size.  The 1 to 4 is considered a Barrier Free door closer, because the spring tension can be turned down to less than 8 pounds of resistance, making the door easy to open.  The 1 to 4 should be used on interior doors and smaller, less than 36" wide exterior doors.  This door closer is a standard template closer with a hole spacing of 3/4" x 9-1/16" center to center, which is what we find on many aluminum framed glass storefront doors.   This closer has a 5 year warranty and is considered a Grade 1 closer, the heaviest duty rating possible.

The Dorma Surface Vertical Rod Top Strike 426 is used on the 8400, 8400F, 9400 and 9400F devices. Shims and mounting screws included.

4" Kickdown Door Holder FS544

The H.B. Ives FS544 Kick Down Door Holder has been a staple in schools for many years due to its heavy duty construction and inexpensive price.  This is one of our most popular Kickdown Door Holder/Stop for the past 35 years.  It is constructed of durable cast iron, which has great strength characteristics.  The shoe is made of a non-marring rubber, which is replaceable.  The shoe is also held in place with a screw, which makes it a great option in schools and area of high vandalism.  This holder will work on door to floor clearances of 2" or less.  The hole spacing is 7/8" x 1-9/16".
