Magnet Door Stop

Hands-free magnetic door stop/holder. All you need to do is open the door and a strong maget will keep it open until you close it. Mounts horizontally or vertically. Includes fasteners plus 1 concrete and 3 hollow wall anchors.

Not for use on doors with spring hinges or door closers.

The Ives WS402CVX Wall Door Stop is our heaviest duty wall stop of this design.  They are constructed of a heavy duty cast brass base that is then plated to your desired finish.   The wall stop is 2-1/2" in diameter and has a 1" projection.  It features a special retainer cup that makes the rubber tamper resistant.  This stop ships with screw and drywall anchor.

The Ives WS401CCV Wall Door Stop is our heaviest duty wall stop of this design.  They are constructed of a heavy duty cast brass base that is then plated to your desired finish.   The wall stop is 2-1/2" in diameter and has a 1" projection.  It features a special retainer cup that makes the rubber tamper resistant.  This stop ships with screw and drywall anchor.

The Ives Wall Bumper Stop WS407-CCV our economically price concave wall bumper.  The metal ring is a wrought stainless steel, otherwise known as stamping.  It features a concealed tamper-proof mounting, and is shipped pre-assembled to the back plate is reduce installation time.   Installation is easy, just insert the screw driver through the pin hole in the rubber and tighten.  The bumper is 2-1/2" in diameter and projects out 1".

The WS11 door stop used to be under the Glynn-Johnson product line as the WB11 until they merged with H.B. Ives.  At that point they became the WS11.  This stop only is constructed of cast brass and then plated to your desired finish.  The stop has a 2" diameter base and projects from the wall 3-3/4".  This particular model is the same as the WS11x, except that it is designed for wood or drywall mounting and ships with wood screws and anchors.

The Ives Wall Door Stop / Holder WS20 is another door holder from Glynn-Johnson.  The Chicago based manufacture made these for 40 plus years.  When they were purchased from H.B Ives and merged into there line they became the WS20.  This holder is constructed of cast brass and then plated to your desired finish.  The hinged holding clip can be released by a gentle pushing on the door, which causes the clip to flip up and release the door.  The piece ships with wood screws and anchors.

The Ives Wall Door Stop / Holder WS45 was introduced about 55 years ago as the Glynn-Johnson W45A or GJW45A. When they were purchased by H.B. Ives, it became the WS45. They are constructed of cast Brass or Bronze and then plated to the desired finish. This door stop is unique because the wall does not have to be parallel to the door for it to latch and hold the door open. Spring loaded roller rides up the face of the strike, seating itself on the strike, holding the door firmly in the open position. A heavy rubber pad cushions the shock and absorbs the sound. With unit mounted on door and the strike on wall, vertical adjustment is available on body. The strike is adjustable 45 degrees left or right, both adjustments easily accomplished at time of installation or at a later date. WS45 strike is furnished with wood screws for drywall mounting.

The WS11X door stop used to be under the Glynn-Johnson product line as the WB11X until they merged with H.B. Ives.  At that point they became the WS11X.  This stop only is constructed of cast brass and then plated to your desired finish.  The stop has a 2" diameter base and projects from the wall 3-3/4".  This particular model is the same as the WS11, except that it is designed for a masonry type mounting and ships with an expansion sheild.

The Ives Wall Mounted Door Stop WS33 is another hold back part from the Glynn-Johnson door stop era.  I can not remember the Glynn-Johnson part #, but when Ives purchased them, they changed it to WS33.  This stop is constructed of cast brass that is then plated to a brushed chrome finish.  It features a replaceable rubber bumper with offset shoulder screws into cavity on body to prevent loss or theft.  And a sloping design that discourages vandalism.The base height is 3" with a width of 2-1/4", and a projection of 3-3/4",  WS33 is furnished with wood screws for drywall mounting.

The Ives Wall Door Stop WS443 has been a staple of the Ives product line for at least the last 45 years.  The stop features cast brass construction and then plated the the desired finish, which makes it ideal for interior or exterior use.   The rubber tip is a non marring rubber, that can be replaced and we keep in stock.  The stop has a 2-1/4" base diameter and a 3-11/16" projection from the wall.  This product ships with an expansion shield and lead shield.

The Ives Wall Door Stop WS65 is one of the most economical door stops we sell that is still commercial quality.  They are constructed of burnished cast aluminum.  The WS65 has a base diameter of 1-5/8" and a 3-3/4" projection. The rubber tip is replaceable.   This stop comes with the mounting screws.

The Ives Wall Door Stop / Holder WS445 has been a staple of the Ives product line for at least the last 45 years, and is the same product as the WS443 except it has a holder function.  The stop features cast brass construction and then plated the the desired finish, which makes it ideal for interior or exterior use.   The rubber tip is a non marring rubber, that can be replaced and we keep in stock.  The stop has a 2-1/4" base diameter and a 3-11-16" projection from the wall.  This product ships with an expansion shield and lead shield.  This holder is considered a manually holder due to the fact you have to bend over and latch and unlatch it.

The 533 Automatic Wall Type Holder and Stop is a commercial grade door holder.  The holder is mounted on the wall and strike is mounted on the door. It is constructed of cast brass, and measures 2 x 2-1/2 base and 2-1/8 inch high. Currently it is only available in brushed chrome.

The Ives Wall Door Stop / Holder WS40 is a door holder that has some history.  We see this product in many schools, hospitals and churches that were built in the 50's, 60's and 70's.   The WS40 was originally made and designed by Glynn-Johnson out of Chicago, Illinois, and was called the W40 or GJW40.   H.B. Ives purchased Glynn-Johnson in 1990's and mergered this product into there offering, and changed the part # to WS40.  The holder is made of cast brass or bronze and plated to your desired finish.  The holding mechanism has a rubber bumper inside it to act as a door stop, and a brass spring loaded roller to act as a holder.   The product ships with a universal screw package to mount on all types of walls.   For the best results with this stop/holder the door and wall should be about 3-1/2" apart in the open position.

The 538 Automatic Door Holder is constructed of cast brass, and then chrome plated. The wall mounted strike has a pivoting head to adjust to different angles. The Holder/Stop measures 3-11/16 x 3 inch base, the stop projects out 1-15/16, and the strike projects out 3-1/4 inches. Holder/Stop ships with fasteners.
