The Polished Stainless Steel Door Kick Plate is 16 gauge, or .050″ thick. Stainless steel offers one of the best material for commercial applications. They are very hard, and do not dent easily. The also offer the best corrosion resistances out there.  We often have people looking for Brushed Chrome or Polished Chrome, but the appearance of the two finishes next to each other is very difficult to tell which is which. Also a brushed chrome or polished chrome kick plate would be a brass plate which is then chrome plated and brushed or polished depending on the plate. Brass is a soft metal that dents easily, and also does not offer the corrosion resistance that stainless steel does. Since stainless steel is stable in any environment, they do not have to clear coat the plate.

Kick Plates can be mounted by screws, two way tape, and they can be glued to the door. Our plates come standard with screw mounting. The manufacture sends #6 x 5/8″ Oval Phillips Undercut Stainless Steel screws.  The number of holes on the screw mounted plates is determined by an industry wide standardize template. A height between 6-10″ will have 10 holes for plates up to 33″ and 12 holes for plates between 33 and 40″.

You can order these plates with tape mounting, but on larger plates and especially plates with a stainless steel base metal, it is not recommended. Stainless Steel plates are too heavy and they most likely will not stick. We can also ship them with no holes, if you want to drill your own holes. This is fine on the Brass and Aluminum base metals, but again Stainless Steel is very hard and a drill press would be recommended. You can glue them on, I would recommend liquid nails, and come C Clamps with the door on saw horses.

The Door Push Plate 89 is drop forged plate that is .125" thick, and is made of Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Bronze or Brass, depending on the finish.  The plate measures 3-1/2" wide by 15-3/4" long with a 1" projection.  This plate is considered a combination push pull plate.    Package ships with matching mounting screws.

The Burns 617 Non-Locking Pocket Door Pull Set is 2-3/4 inches tall by 2-1/2 inches deep. The mortise dimensions are 2-5/16 inches tall by 1-7/8 inch deep. Base metal is Brass or Aluminum depending on the finish.

The Door Pull Offset #39 Handle is constructed of either solid aluminum, brass or stainless steel.  The handle is 1" diameter tubing with a 2-3/4" offset and 2-3/4" projection.  This is the most common type of handle you use today.  Just about every aluminum framed storefront door has a version of this handle.  This handle is available in 8", 10", 12" and 18" centers on the mounting holes.  If you have a 9" centered handle use the PH-4000.   It comes standard with thru bolts and finish washers, but can be special ordered if you would like the handle mounted back to back or surface mounted. Brushed Chrome Kick Plates are usually a bronze plate that is chrome plated. The problem with bronze is it is a soft metal and dents easily. The stainless steel plates are a lot harder and more resistant to dents. Brushed chrome looks identical to brushed stainless steel.  We only use type 304 stainless.

The Door Push Plate 58 is the only plate we have that is a forged plate.  The forging process involves heat and pressure or pounding.  The result is a very heavy and durable metal.  This plate measures 3-1/2" wide by 15" tall, with a thickness of 7/32".  This is one of the thickest plate we offer, and is the most sturdy.

The Door Push Plate 59 has the classic half round design.  The plate measure 7-1/2" wide and 15" tall, and is constructed of 16 gauge metal, which is .050" thick.  This plate is similar to the GPH60 (Push Plate 59), but is a 1/2" more narrow and 1" shorter.  This plate ships with the matching finish screws.

This 2" x 3-3/4" pull plate is constructed of solid aluminum, brass or stainless steel depending on the finish. The plate is .125" thick and the diameter of the hole is 1-1/4 inches.

The Diamond Plate Aluminum Door Kick Plate are solid aluminum.   They are 1/8" thick and have a gloss or polished finish.  These plates have the Diamond pattern, and the diamonds are 1-1/8" long.  Custom sizes are available, they run about $0.39 per square inch.  The lead time on these plates is about 7-10 days.

The 598-12 or 5599-24 feature heavy duty steel construction to ensure maximum strength and security. The bolt measures 1/4 x 3/4 x 12 or 24 inches and ships with strikes and mounting screws. The finish in Brushed Chrome. This bolt is UL approved.

The wall mounted strike has a pivoting head to adjust to different wall angles.  Constructed of cast brass that is then satin chrome plated.  Base is 3-11/16 x 3 inches, with an 1-15/16 inch projection.  The strke projects 3-1/4 inches.

The 590 is made of solid brass and ships with matching screws.  The faceplate measures 1 x 6-3/4 inches, the strike is 15/16 x 2-1/4 inches and comes standard with a 12 inch rod.  The mountng screws are 1 x 6-1/4 inches on centers.

The Burns Manufacturing 455 Adjustable Push/Push units consists of 2 454 push bars and and 1 453 pull bar. They are adustable up to 36". The tubes are 1 inch round and the bases are 2 inch diameter by 2-1/2 inch projection. The base metal is brass.

The Door Pull 26 is made of 1" round stock in either solid, aluminum, brass or stainless steel. The handle has a projection of 2-3/4", and clearance of 1-3/4". The Door Pull Offset 3/4" Diameter #29 is constructed of either solid, Aluminum, Brass or Stainless Steel. The handle 3/4" diameter tubing with a 2-1/2" projection and 2-1/2" offset.  We find these on narrow stile aluminum framed glass storefront doors.  It comes standard with thru bolts and finish washers, but can be special ordered if you would like the handle mounted back to back or surface mounted. ADA Sliding and Barn Door Push/Pull Set. Pull handle is 3/4" round stock with 6" center to centers and 2-1/2 inch clearance.  The flush pull is 4" x 7" x 1-1/8 inch ADA.

The Hands-Free/Foot Door Pull BM46 can be used as a ADA compliant hands-free door pull when mounted 42" above the finished floor. Or as foot pull when mounted at the bottom of the door. The Pull is 4" x 5" and is made of .090 thick stainless steel. Ships with sex bolts and screws for 1-3/4" door. Available in Brushed Stainless Steel, Flat Black Powder Coat and Dark Bronze Powder Coat.

The 459 Flush Door Pull measures 3-3/8 x 4-3/4 x 1/8 inch.  The opening size is 1-3/4 by 3-1/2 inches.  The mortised pocket would need to be 3-3/4 by 2-13/16 and 11/16 deep. The flush pull ships with mounting screws in the matching finish.

The Handicap ADA Hands-Free Door Pull BM4511 is an ADA compliant. You can hook your forearm/wrist into the open end to open a non-latching door. The pull is constructed of stainless steel and is available in brushed stainless steel, powder coated flat black or powder coated dark bronze. The plate measures 4 x 16 inches and the grip is tack-welded to the plate and also has a 5/16-18 thread for thru bolting. The grip is 1-1/4 diameter by 8 inches. Ships with 6 mounting screws and one 5/16-18 thru bolt with finished washer in matching finish.

The 460 ADA Flush Pull measures 5 inches by 5 inches  and is made of 1/8 inch material.  The opening size is 3-1/2 inches by 3 inches. The pull is fastened to the door with 10-24 by 5/8 inch security torx with barrel nuts.  The pull is designed for 1-3/4 thick doors, please specify if your door is thicker than 1-3/4 inches.  Available in Brushed and Polished Stainless Steel and also Powder Coated Flat Black and Dark Bronze.

Back to Back mounted Off-Set Door Pull featuring 1-1/4 inch stock diameter stock. Handle has a 4 inch offset with a 2 inch clearance and 3 1/4" projection. Available in 12 or 18 inch centers. Sold as sets, 2 handles and 3/8-24 thread stud.

This Barn Door Pull Set features back to back handles that are thru-bolt mounted for a hassle-free setup.  The Grip is 6 inches on centers and is constructed of 3/4 inch round stock, and projects out 2-3/8 inch. The flush pull face dimensions are 2-1/2 by 7 inches. The mortise size of the flush pull are 2 x 7/8 deep x 1/4 inch.

Floor Door Stop / Holder Heavy Duty 541

This Floor Mounted Door Stop is a personal favorite. It is extremely heavy duty, and is ideal for areas of high vandalism. Includes the 4-1/2" lag bolt & lag shield. The rubber base is 3" in diameter and is 3" high.  Uses a 3/4" diameter hole for the lag sheild.

The Plunger Door Holder / Stop 582 is constructed of cast aluminum.  The stop measures 6-1/4" by 1-1/2" with a 1-5/8" throw.  The rubber shoe is gray.  It will ship with matching finish screws.  These are sometimes called pop-up or push down door stops.

The Anodized Black Aluminum Door Kick Plate 315AN are a flat black and match the black color we find on Storefront doors.  These plates have an aluminum base metal, which is 18 gauge (.040") thick that is then Anodized in the Black Color.  These plates relatively inexpensive.  Custom sizes are available, they run about $0.25 per square inch.
