Floor Door Stop 524

The 524 Door Stop is one of the more interesting door stops we have.   They are constructed of cast brass that is then plated to your finish.  It measures 1-1/4" in diameter and is 1-1/2" tall.  One of the benefits of this door stop is there are no exposed screws.  The 524 ships with a 12-24 x 1" machine screw, a plastic anchor and a lead anchor.

Floor Door Stop / Holder 536

The Stop and Holder 536 is considered a manual door holder.   It is a manual door holder because you have to physically bend over and hook and unhook the holder.  This holder is constructed cast brass or cast bronze and then plated to your desired finish.  The stop measures 2-1/2" in diameter and 3-7/8" overall height, with a center line height of 2-1/2" from the base to the center of the rubber stop.  It ships with all of the fasteners.

The Wall Door Holder/Stop 531 features cast brass or bronze finish which is then plated to the desired finish.  This is considered a manually operated door holder, because it does not latch automatically.  It features a 2-1/2" base with 3-5/8" projection, and ships complete with all of the needed fasteners.

The 459 Flush Door Pull measures 3-3/8 x 4-3/4 x 1/8 inch.  The opening size is 1-3/4 by 3-1/2 inches.  The mortised pocket would need to be 3-3/4 by 2-13/16 and 11/16 deep. The flush pull ships with mounting screws in the matching finish.

The 533 Automatic Wall Type Holder and Stop is a commercial grade door holder.  The holder is mounted on the wall and strike is mounted on the door. It is constructed of cast brass, and measures 2 x 2-1/2 base and 2-1/8 inch high. Currently it is only available in brushed chrome.

Back to Back mounted handles constructed of 3/4 inch round stock.  One handle will be threaded and the other will have a stud mounting that is secured by a set screw. This Barn Door Pull Set features back to back handles that are thru-bolt mounted for a hassle-free setup.  The Grip is 6 inches on centers and is constructed of 3/4 inch round stock, and projects out 2-3/8 inch. The flush pull face dimensions are 2-1/2 by 7 inches. The mortise size of the flush pull are 2 x 7/8 deep x 1/4 inch.

The Door Pull Offset #39 Handle is constructed of either solid aluminum, brass or stainless steel. The handle is 1" diameter tubing with a 2-3/4" offset and 2-3/4" projection. This is the most common type of handle you use today.  Just about every aluminum framed storefront door has a version of this handle. This handle is available in 8", 10", 12" and 18" centers on the mounting holes. The back to back mounting is for Metal or Wood Doors that are 1-3/4 thick. Included fastener is threaded into one of the handles, and the Stud End has fits into the inside handle and is held in place by a set screw on the handle.

Package includes two offset pull handles and fastening hardware. Shown in Polished Stainless Steel with 12 inch centers.

With the Handicap Door Pull 119 you are able to get a closed fist behind the pull, which makes it a great ADA Door Pull. Also known as the Double Arm Pull it is constructed of aluminum, brass or stainless steel stock.   It measures 8-1/2" overall length and has 5-1/4" centers on the mounting screws.  The flat bar stock is 3/8" x 1", and the round mounting post is 3/4" diameter.  Shipped with screws and finish washers. Also known as a Handicap Grip, ADA Door Pull or Handle.

The process is called Poly Vapor Deposition or PVD, which is why we hear the name Lifetime Polished Brass Kick Plate PVD. Because the finish is an artificial brass, it does not have to be clear coated, so it will never tarnish. The Lifetime Polished Brass finish cost the same as the Solid Brass Polished Kick Plates.

Our plates come standard with screw mounting. The manufacture sends #6 x 5/8″ Oval Phillips Undercut brass screws. The number of holes on the screw mounted plates is determined by an industry wide standardize template. A height between 6-10″ will have 10 holes for plates up to 33″ and 12 holes for plates between 33 and 40″.   You can order these plates with tape mounting, but on larger plates, it is not recommended, the plates are too heavy and they most likely will not stick. We can also ship them with no holes, if you want to drill your own holes, but they are made of Stainless Steel, which is a tough metal to drill. The Anodized Black Aluminum Door Kick Plate 315AN are a flat black and match the black color we find on Storefront doors.  These plates have an aluminum base metal, which is 18 gauge (.040") thick that is then Anodized in the Black Color.  These plates relatively inexpensive.  Custom sizes are available, they run about $0.25 per square inch.

You can order these plates with tape mounting, but on larger plates and especially plates with a stainless steel base metal, it is not recommended.  Stainless Steel plates are too heavy and they most likely will not stick.  We can also ship them with no holes, if you want to drill your own holes.  This is fine on the Brass and Aluminum base metals, but again Stainless Steel is very hard and a drill press would be recommended.   You can glue them on, I would recommend liquid nails, and come C Clamps with the door on saw horses.

The Concealed Mount Push and Pull Plate Sets feature an 1/8 inch push plate with a 1/20 inch plate plate. The handle is surface mounted with thru mounted studs. 8 inch center handles are 3/4 inch diameter, 10 in and 12 inch center handles are 1 inch diameter.

The 538 Automatic Door Holder is constructed of cast brass, and then chrome plated. The wall mounted strike has a pivoting head to adjust to different angles. The Holder/Stop measures 3-11/16 x 3 inch base, the stop projects out 1-15/16, and the strike projects out 3-1/4 inches. Holder/Stop ships with fasteners.

Only available in Brushed Chrome Finish.

The 460 ADA Flush Pull measures 5 inches by 5 inches  and is made of 1/8 inch material.  The opening size is 3-1/2 inches by 3 inches. The pull is fastened to the door with 10-24 by 5/8 inch security torx with barrel nuts.  The pull is designed for 1-3/4 thick doors, please specify if your door is thicker than 1-3/4 inches.  Available in Brushed and Polished Stainless Steel and also Powder Coated Flat Black and Dark Bronze.

Solid brass kick plate, polished to mirror finish.  We can no longer get the solid brass plates, the lifetime polished brass will be shipped in its place.

The standard Polished Brass Door Kick Plate is a solid brass kick plate that is polished and then clear coated to prevent oxidation. These plates are 16 gauge or .050″ thick. A draw back of the Polished Brass Plates is oxidation. If the plate becomes scratched or dented, there is a good probability that the clear coat delaminates and moist could get under the surface. When this happens, the plate will tarnish. The brass base material is softer, so the chances of them becoming scratched or dented in commercial applications is pretty high.

The number of holes on the screw mounted plates is determined by an industry wide standardize template. I would highly recommend the Lifetime Brass if these plates are going to be mounted outside. Solid brass is soft, and tends to dent easily and the clear coat can be compromised. The Lifetime Brass plates do not require a clear and will last a lot, lot longer!

Anodized Aluminum Door Kick Plates are the most cost effective, least expensive. The aluminum plates are 16 gauge, or .050″ thick and have a brushed or satin finish. They have an anodized finish to resist corrosion and we find these in many commercial buildings through out the United States.

Our Dark Bronze Oil Rubbed Bronze Door Kick Plates (US10B) are a baked on powder coat on brass base metal. We switched to this finish 5 years ago due to color variations in the US10B Oil Rubbed Bronze finishes. The US version was much lighter than the Asian version, which is where most the door hardware is made these days. The cost of Oil Rubbing was going through the roof and many platers were having issue with the environmental impact and EPA regulations in the United States. Our Oil Rubbed Kick Plates are 16 gauge (.050″) thick.

The Satin Nickel is a popular finish we have been seeing the last 15 years. These plates are 16 gauge or .050″ thick.

The Door Pull 26 is made of 1" round stock in either solid, aluminum, brass or stainless steel. The handle has a projection of 2-3/4", and clearance of 1-3/4". It comes standard with thru bolts and finish washers, but can be special ordered if you would like the handle mounted back to back or surface mounted. Also known as a Door Handle or Door Grip.

They are very hard, and do not dent easily. The also offer the best corrosion resistances out there.  This plate is ideal as a replacement for Brushed Chrome kick plates. Brushed Chrome Kick Plates are usually a bronze plate that is chrome plated. The problem with bronze is it is a soft metal and dents easily. The stainless steel plates are a lot harder and more resistant to dents. Brushed chrome looks identical to brushed stainless steel.  We only use type 304 stainless.
