Floor Door Stop Dome 1-3/8" FS438

We ship the H.B. Ives FS438 Floor Dome Stop, another product made by Ives that has been around for 50 plus years.  Take a walk around a school made in the 1960's and you will probably find this door stop, or the hole were it used to be.  This Dome Stop is used on doors without thresholds that have a bottom of the door to floor clearance of less than 5/8".  The are constructed of cast aluminum or cast bronze depending on the finish you are looking for.  The rubber stop is non-marring and replaceable.  The stop has a base that is 1-3/4" x 2" oval, an overall height of 1-3/8" and a base height of 9/16".

Floor Door Stop-Security  FS18 is designed for areas of high vandalism.   The molded rubber is flame resistant and mounted to a 5/8" threaded mounting shaft.  Once the 7/8" diameter hole is drilled to a depth of 2-1/2" it can be grouted in concrete and leaves no exposed fasteners.  The recommended grout is Thorogrip.  They are ideal for jail or security cell areas.  There are two versions of this door stop one projects 1-1/2" (FS18S) out of the floor and the other 3" (FS18L).

Ives line in the 1990's and now goes by the part # FS41. Many schools and hospitals have this door holder in use today. It features: Automatic door holders ideal for heavy-traffic situations that require a simple, fool-proof, Hold-Open device. Forged from brass. Unit is activated automatically when door is opened. A firm pull on door releases the mechanism. Strikes accommodate different door to floor clearances. Model numbers are determined by strike/door-to-floor clearances. Holder position on door is adjustable.

The Ives 157XY Continuous Full Surface Geared Hinge is an ideal solution for the replacement or worn or broken storefront door pivots, which we run across quite often. I our opinion this is the best solution if you can not find a compatable replacement pivot. The geared hinge will not allow the door to twist, which makes your door more sturdy in the frame. The Ives Wall Door Stop WS443 has been a staple of the Ives product line for at least the last 45 years.  The stop features cast brass construction and then plated the the desired finish, which makes it ideal for interior or exterior use.   The rubber tip is a non marring rubber, that can be replaced and we keep in stock.  The stop has a 2-1/4" base diameter and a 3-11/16" projection from the wall.  This product ships with an expansion shield and lead shield.

The Floor Door Stop FS434 is another one the old Ives parts that has been around for about 40 plus years.   The FS434 is constructed of burnished wrought steel, with a soft, resilient gray rubber shoe.  The shoe is replaceable and is under related products.  The stop measures 2-5/8" overall height, and the base measures 1-1/2" wide by 2-3/4" long.  This door stop ships with all the fasteners and anchors needed.

The Ives Wall Door Stop / Holder WS445 has been a staple of the Ives product line for at least the last 45 years, and is the same product as the WS443 except it has a holder function.  The stop features cast brass construction and then plated the the desired finish, which makes it ideal for interior or exterior use.   The rubber tip is a non marring rubber, that can be replaced and we keep in stock.  The stop has a 2-1/4" base diameter and a 3-11-16" projection from the wall.  This product ships with an expansion shield and lead shield.  This holder is considered a manually holder due to the fact you have to bend over and latch and unlatch it.

The Ives 112HD Continuous Full Mortise Hinge Geared Hinge measures 83" long and is constructed of extruded aluminum.  This hinge is non handed, and will work on doors up to 48" wide and 450 pounds.  You can easily cut this hinge in the field if your door is less than 83" high.

The Ives Roller Bumper Offset RB470 are ideal if you have situations where doors meet each.   They are constructed cast brass or bronze and are then plated to the desired finish.   The arm projects 5" and the base has a 1-11/16" x 2-1/4".   The device was just like the Glynn-Johnson RB3 or GJRB3.
