The LCN 1250 Rw/PA Door Closer is a direct replacement for the Norton 1600, Yale 50, Falcon/Dor-o-Matic SC60, LCN 1260 and International 8050 Series Door Closers.  It is  ideal for low frequency and low abusive traffic areas, such as store front doors and interior doors.  It features, a cast aluminum cylinder, 15 year warranty, powder coated finishes, and stick on mounting template.  This door closer comes with the ability to mount on the push, pull or top jamb and is non handed.   The door closer meets Grade 1-ANSI A156.4, UL/cUL, ADA and the Buy American Act certifications.

The LCN Door Closer Hold Open Arm 3049 has an adjustable nut that allows the door closer arm to lock when they reach a pre select position.  This arm can be used on most LCN Door Closers because the Hold Open function is in the arm.   If you have a regular armed LCN Closer currently, you can use this arm to make them have the Hold Open function.  Two words of warning, they can not be used on an interior fire rated door, and Hold Open arms usually break.   The manufactures sell more door closers with regular arms, but we tend to sell more Hold Open arms, meaning they wear out or break a lot easier then Regular Arms.

Not all of the LCN closers have the same shape spindle on the door closer cylinder. The LCN Part #'s on this Regular Arm is: 1260-3049 (non handed), 1460-3049 (non handed), 4010-3049 (handed), 4020-3049 (handed), 4040-3049 (non handed).   The fitting for the 4040 is a six sided, the 4010, 4020 and 4110 have a flat sided oval, and the 1260 and 1460 have an eight sided star.

The magnet housing measures 2-13/16" wide by 4-5/8" high. The armature (door mount part) is 1-11/16" wide by 2-3/8" high with a 1-7/8" diameter. The armature projects out 1-5/8". The total projection of both pieces is 4-1/8". Available in an aluminum or dark bronze color.  Armature extensions are available, along with replacement covers, magnets, and armatures.

The magnet housing measures 5-1/8" long x 4-9/16" wide and 3-7/16" high. The armature (door mount part) is 1-11/16" wide by 2-3/8" high with a 1-7/8" diameter. The armature projects out 1-5/8". The total projection of both pieces is 6-3/4". Available in an aluminum or dark bronze color.  Armature extensions are available, along with replacement covers, magnets, and armatures.

The LCN Door Closer 1261 Series combines the best features from the previous 1070 and 1370 into a single versatile and economical cast iron closer, with Tri mounting capability. The LCN 79 Door Closer Rod And Shoe  piece fits into the female part of all LCN Regular Arms. The old style had two concave set screws and a ball pressed into the rod. If the door over rotated the ball would pull out of the concave set screws. The new version has a pin holding the rod to the shoe which is designed to fail if the door is over rotated. This piece will work on the LCN 1260, 1460, 4010, 4020, 4030 and 4040 door closers with regular arms. Some of the really old models have multiple threaded holes, so you might have to drill a hole in the female tube. Part #'s 4040-79, 4040-79LR and 4040-79ELR. The 1260, 1460, 4010, or 4020 could replace the 4040 in those part numbers, they are the same.

The LCN Head and Tube 78H and 78HL comes in two versions.  One is 5-3/4" long and the other is 8-5/8".  The square hole is 5/8".  The head and tube usually breaks where the cast ring attaches to the tube.  This part usually goes by the part number 4040-78H, 4040-78HL, 4040XP-78H, 4040XP-78HL, 1260-78H, 1260-78HL, ect.,.

The LCN Hold Open Arm Wrench T-1157 is used to adjust LCN Friction Hold Open Arms,  one side if for the 1-1/2" nut and the other is 1-3/16".  Friction Hold Open arm would be part number 3049, with the suffix being the closer model, like 4040-3049, ect..

LCN SEM7850-515 Magnet Hardware Package is used to mount the Armature or the Door Mounted part of the Magnetic Door Holders.   If you are currently using LCN door holders, you will not need to purchase this.   However, if you are using another brand and they have gone missing, you will need to purchase this component.

These standard metal extensions can be used with the LCN SEM magnet door holders to increase the holder projection. The treads on this piece are 3/8-16.

Replacement Rod for the LCN 4630 Door Closer, LCN Part # 4630-82

The SEM7810-514 LCN Ball Pivot Connection Link Coupler Assembly Kit, is required for each door needing extension(s). Kit includes coupler link and ball pivot (alone serves as an 1-1/2" extenison). The threaded end is 3/8-16.

The LCN Fusible Link melts at 165 degrees to release the hold open mechanism.   Link measures 1-3/8 long by a 1/2" wide, the center to center distance on the holes is 15/16".
