The EL2390 is a Grade 1 exit device designed for high use and abuse, and delivers a variety of performance features that ensure smooth, easy and reliable operation. We only recommend this device when you have an existing 2390, that your want to control access to with either a card reader or inside button. Easier rod adjustment simplifies installation. This device is for replacement of older worn out Falcon / Dor-o-Matic 2390's. Falcon Automatic Opener 8231
The Falcon Automatic Opener 8231 is a smart and easy solution to improve accessibility and meet ADA Codes. The 8231 is a non handed, surface mounted, 115 volt closer for a pull side mounting. If your door is an outswinging door you would use the 8242. This self contained package features, an on board power supply, LED light on the control box to signal accurate installation and helps with connection diagnostics.

SmartLatch-senses and overcomes external pressure conditions with a Graduated energy assist of secure latching.
Push N Go-selectable feature allows door to open automatically as soon as it feels pressure.
Open Position Learning-automatically sets the opening position to eliminate wall and door damage.
Obstacle Obstruction Detection-safety feature stops and reverses door direction when distress or an obstruction is sensed.
Pre-Load Strike Assist-removes load on strike lip with a one second delay allowing the door to release and automatically open.
LED Light Illumination-Light illumination on control box signals accurate installation and helps with connection diagnostics.
On Board Power Supply-powers the accessories without the need to install an external power supply-12 vac

Dor-o-Matic Falcon EL1690-EL1790-EL2390 Solenoid
The Dor-o-Matic Falcon 4758959 Soleniod is used on the EL1690, EL1790, and EL2390 Electric Latch Retraction exit devices. The Solenoid measures 4-1/8 inches long including mouting flange, and has an 1-3/4 inch diameter. The mounting screw spacing is 1 inch on centers. The Plunger is included and has a 7/8 inch diameter and is 2-15/16 inches long. We find the number 971687 on the solenoid.
