LCN 4820 Door Closer Pneumatically Operated

The Jackson Door Closer Center Hung Arm - 20-2010 is used with the 20-330 concealed closer.  The arm measures 9-1/2" long by 1-3/8" wide at the hub by 13/16" thick at the hub.

The International Door Closer 1803BC-P - Fixed Spring Closer is one of the heaviest duty closers in the International product line.   It offers a 10 year warranty, and is Grade 1 rated, which is the highest rating you can have.  The closer features three adjustment valves for closing,latching speeds and one for back check.  The cylinder is constructed of precision cast aluminum.   It ships with a regular arm and parallel arm bracket.   This is one of the last closers out there to still have sizing.  By sizing I mean each door closer has a spring size of different tension so the closer is selected depending on door size and wether it is interior or exterior.  These days we usually use this door closer as a replacement of existing doors.   This door closer is for use on doors up to 42” interior or 36” exterior doors.

3/4" X 9-1/16" Hole Spacing

The Norton Door Closer 8501 is sometimes called the Omni Door Closer.  This door closer features a cast aluminum body, is a Grade 1 closer and has adjustable closing, latching, and back check speeds.  This closer is a non sized closer, meaning you adjust the spring tension to meet closing requirement for a ADA Barrier Free application all the way up to a 48” exterior door.  You cover might have 8501/8501BF 3501/3501BF, but the new version will cover the BF and non BF closers.  The difference between this closer and the 8301 is the size of the plastic cover.  The 8301 has a slim cover, and the 8501 has full cover.  The hole spacing on this door closer is 3/4” x 12”.

The LCN 1370 was a door closer made in the late 1990's to 2006 or so. The closer had a special mounting plate that made installation very quick. Many people have this door closer in use and now they are starting to fail. The LCN 1370-18QF Quick Fix Plate converts the mounting holes of the 1370 to a standard template closer, which is 3/4" x 9-1/16". By using this plate you will not have to redrill holes in your door. The plate measures 2 by 10-1/4 inches with tapped holes that measure 3/4 x 9-1/16 inch. 

The Norton Door Closer Regular Arm is the standard arm that is shipped with the 9300, 1600, 8301, 8501 and 7500 door closers.  It will also work with the Yale 2300, 50, 3301, 3501 and 4400 series door closers.  This arm has had a bunch of different factory numbers over the years, including 1620-1, 7701-1 and 400-1.

The Panic Hex Key 7/32" is used on Dor-O-Matic Falcon and Sargent Panic Hardware to name a few.  The key measures 7/32" hex by 3-1/4" long.   Also known as a Hex Key, Dog Key, Allen Key or Dogging Key.

The Dorma Rim Device Strike 463 is used on the 8300, 8300F, 9300 and 9300F exit devices. Mounting screws included.

The Norton Door Closer 1601 has been around for the past 40 years.  With the advent of aluminum framed glass doors, Norton was on for the first manufactures to come up with a narrow stile door closer.  Because of this, it is still one of the most popular door closer model out there.  It is a Grade 1 closer and has adjustable closing, latching, and back check speeds.  The model we ship also has adjustable spring tension to work on a wider range of doors.  The hole spacing is 3/4” x 9-1/16”.

Older models may be stamped with Scoville or Eaton, which are the companies that used to own Norton.  We sometimes find 20-1624-4001, or 20-1604-4001 stamped on the back of the closer. If your door closer is stamped 20-1603-4001 or 20-1623-4001, you might want to double check the hole spacing. The 20-1603-4001 usually has a hole spacing of 3/4" x 8-3/16", you could use the International Door Closer 853 as a replacement.

LCN Door Closer Fusible Link Arm

Adjustable nut allows door closer arm to lock when the preselect position is reached. Fusible Link will hold door until heat melts the "Link" and then the door will shut. Used on Fire Doors to control a spreading fire.

The International 8052-TP Delayed Action Door Closer is same  as the 8050 Series or 8051-TP, but with Delayed Action. Delayed Action is a function of the Door Closer hydraulic cylinder. The hydraulic cylinder will hold the door open for up to 30 seconds to allow physically challenged individuals time to get through the door way. The International Door Closer 526 Parallel Arm Bracket is one of two they offer.  This bracket us usually used with the Hold Open Arm 522, and is stronger than the 525 Parallel Arm bracket that ships with the closers.

The Von Duprin Panic Device 210NL Trim is part of there economy series trims.  This trim iis a pull with a key cylinder hole, it will line up with the chassis mounting holes of the 22 and 2227 devices.  The key locks and unlocks the exit device.  The plate measures 5-3/8" x 4-25/32" x 3/32", with a projection of 1-31/32".

The Jackson Door Closer Center Hung Arm 20-2085 is for double acting center hung doors for use with the 20-330 concealed closer.  The arm measures 9-1/2" long by 1-3/8" wide by 19/32" thick.

Our Dark Bronze Oil Rubbed Bronze Door Kick Plates (US10B) are a baked on powder coat on brass base metal. We switched to this finish 5 years ago due to color variations in the US10B Oil Rubbed Bronze finishes. The US version was much lighter than the Asian version, which is where most the door hardware is made these days. The cost of Oil Rubbing was going through the roof and many platers were having issue with the environmental impact and EPA regulations in the United States. Our Oil Rubbed Kick Plates are 16 gauge (.050″) thick.

Kick Plates can be mounted by screws, two way tape, and they can be glued to the door. Our plates come standard with screw mounting. The manufacture sends #6 x 5/8″ Oval Phillips Undercut dark brown screw. The number of holes on the screw mounted plates is determined by an industry wide standardize template. A height between 6-10″ will have 10 holes for plates up to 33″ and 12 holes for plates between 33 and 40″.

You can order these plates with tape mounting, but on larger plates, it is not recommended. Large plates are too heavy and they most likely will not stick. We can also ship them with no holes, if you want to drill your own holes. You can glue them on, I would recommend liquid nails, and some C Clamps with the door on saw horses.

Von Duprin 050532 EL Dogging Rod 4'

The EL Dogging Rod connects the Solenoid to the Push Bar Bracket. The 4' designates the model it is used on. The 4' model is used on doors 48" down to 36". The Rod measures roughly 17" long. This rod is used on the 33A, 35A, 98 and 99 Exit Devices. Use part # G050531 if your door is equal or under 36".

The Detex V40 ValueSeries Rim Device is their economical exit device.  The device only comes in powder coated aluminum or black. The standard 36 inch model measures 32-7/8 inches wide.  The unit ships with strike all the mounting screws and a hex dog key.

3327A and 3527A for all types of single and double doors, UL listed for Panic Exit Hardware. Devices are ANSI A156.3 – 2001 Grade 1. Corbin Russwin ED4200S Latch Assembly

The Corbin Russwin ED4200S 681F618 Latch Assembly is used on the Narrow Stile SecureBolt Exit Device.  The difference between the ED5200S and ED4200S Latch Assembly is the location of the Hub.  Hub on the ED4200S Latch Assembly is located on the center line of the Assembly Mounting Screws.

The Door Push Plate 59 has the classic half round design.  The plate measure 7-1/2" wide and 15" tall, and is constructed of 16 gauge metal, which is .050" thick.  This plate is similar to the GPH60 (Push Plate 59), but is a 1/2" more narrow and 1" shorter.  This plate ships with the matching finish screws.

The Jackson Door Closer Offset Arm 20-1134LC is the arm and track assembly for the 20-330 concealed closer.  The arm measures 12-15/16" long with .919" offset, and the track measures 1/2" thick by 12-7/8" long by 1-9/32" wide.  The track includes the nylon slide, pin and retaining ring.

The Barrier Free version just means you can turn the spring tension down to a size 1 spring, which will meet the ADA codes (less than 5 pounds of resistance). 3/4" X 9-1/16" Hole Spacing

The Von Duprin 990K Trim is known as a Knob Trim.  This plate mounts on the exterior of the door, and the welded on mounting studs line up with the 99 device on the interior of the building.  If you have a different manufacture or a different Von Duprin series on the interior, it will not line up.  On the back of this plate we usually find the number 990 stamped on it.  The key locks and unlocks the knob.  The plate shown here is for the Rim and Surface Vertical Rod 99 and 98 devices.  If you have a Mortise or Concealed Vertical Rod, call us and we will order that model.  The plate measures 3" wide by 14-3/16" tall.   Order here for the 990K-R&V.

The Norton Traditional Door Closer 78 B/D is a door closer used in historic buildings.  This is a replica of the original cast iron door closer used from the 1920’s to 1960’s.  The new version is made of a cast aluminum alloy material, and should only be used when you are trying to keep historic designations.  The hole spacing on this closer is 1-3/8" x 4-1/4”.

The LCN Door Closer Spring cush Arm 3077SC is an optional arm offered by LCN.  The arm features a solid forged steel main arm and forearm with a spring loaded stop in the soffit shoe, which makes this arm ideal for abusive parallel arm applications.  Specify your current closers model number when ordering.
