The Barracuda DSI is designed for In Swinging 36" Doors.  The user places the deive on the floor and slides the metal plates under the door.   Then pushing outward on the handles engages the plates to the exterior door jamb.   Then you simply install the locking pin to barracade the door.   The device is manufactured of heavy-duty steel that is then coated in a durable powder coat paint.   It will work on just about any door and comes in 6 different versions depending on your jamb width.   It is lightweight and comes with a storage mounting rack, along with all the the needed hardware for installation.

The Door Push Plate 70 is our thickest plate we offer.  The plate is 1/8" thick, and is aluminum, brass, stainless steel, or bronze depending on the finish.  All 4 edges are beveled.  We offer this plate in many sizes, and it ships with matching mounting screws.

Finishes

The Von Duprin 8827 Top Latch Case 050460 is for non fire rated doors. A non fire rated device is one that has to positively latch every time it closes, you can usually tell, because a non fire rated device has the hex key dogging.  This is the part that may be causing your bottom latch to drag on the floor. The Top Latch does all the work on the Von Duprin 8827. When the Top Latch is retracted, it holds the rods in the retracted position.

The Detex BN ValueSeries Lever Trim measures 1-29/32 wide by 8-1/4 inches tall, and the escutcheon is 15/16 inches thick.  We ship the Classroom Function where the keys locks and unlocks the lever, other functions are available. The Lever trim does not ship with the Mortise Cylinder.

The 80 Series Push Plate is similar to the 70 series, but has a round bevel on the top and bottom of the plate. There is no bevel on the sides. These plates are  an 1/8 inch thick and are available many different finishes and size.  Custom sizes are available, and they ship with the matching finish mounting screws.

Dorma 8000 Series End Cap comes with the two plastic pieces and the mounting screws.

The 460 ADA Flush Pull measures 5 inches by 5 inches  and is made of 1/8 inch material.  The opening size is 3-1/2 inches by 3 inches. The pull is fastened to the door with 10-24 by 5/8 inch security torx with barrel nuts.  The pull is designed for 1-3/4 thick doors, please specify if your door is thicker than 1-3/4 inches.  Available in Brushed and Polished Stainless Steel and also Powder Coated Flat Black and Dark Bronze.

The 524T has 1-1/4 inch diameter by 2-1/2 inches tall. It is constructed of brass and then powder coated flat black or brushed chrome plated. This stop ships with a lead anchor, 12-24 x 1 inch machine screw, #12 x 1-1/2 inch SMS with plastic anchor.

The Dorma Surface Vertical Rod Top Strike 426 is used on the 8400, 8400F, 9400 and 9400F devices. Shims and mounting screws included.

The Von Duprin 050155 33/99 Cylinder Dogging Conversion Kit converts Hex Dogging Devices to the Cylinder Dogging.  For use with the 33A, 35A, 98 and 99 Devices.

This package connects to the rods on the Dorma 9400 Surface Vertical Rod Devices. Plate measures 3/4 x 1/2 inch, finger sticks up 3/4 of an inch. Package includes 2 plates and 2 screws.

The Von Duprin 55 Rim Latch Bolt Spring 967502 is only used on the 55 Rim Panic Hardware.  This spring just keeps pressure on the latch bolt, it does not lift the arm.  If your arm is sagging, they you need to tighten the crossbar wedge tite screws and check and make sure the 55R200 55 Hinge Case Spring is not broken.  It measures 1-1/2" long by 3/8" diameter.

The Von Duprin Dogging Hook 090044 is the piece that grabs the push bar mechanism and keeps it in the dogged position.  The does wear out, but it takes a long time.  This piece is used on the 22, 33A, 35A, 98 and 99 series devices made after 1997.  We sell this part individually and it is #5 on the diagram.

Automatic Floor Type Holder and Stop

A replacement holder and stop that has been around for many years.   This style of Holder can be found in many of the schools, churches and hospitals that were built in the 1960's and 1970's.  Cast brass construction, and then chrome plated. Measures 3-11/16" high by 3" wide with a 1-15/16" projection. The strike is 1-3/16" high. Spring loaded brass roller, rolls over the the strike to lock the door in the open position. To release, just give the door a tug.  Designed for doors with a door to floor clearance of less than a 1/2".

This Coat Hook has a 2 inch diameter base, 1-3/4 inch projection and the hook has a diameter 1-1/4 inch. The hook is mounted with a 1/4-20 hanger bolt. Base material is brass or stainless steel depending on the finish.

The new Series 2670 Exit Alarm Lock provides secure protection through a large stainless steel deadbolt, which is 2" x 1/2" (51mm x 13mm) and has over a 3/4" (19mm) throw. The engagement area into the strike is over 1 1/4" (32mm) square inches. The cast aluminum latch case protects the internal mechanism and resists tampering or vandalism from inside the door. This unit has been tested to withstand up to 1600 pounds of static load force against the door.

The Detex V40 ValueSeries Rim Device is their economical exit device.  The device only comes in powder coated aluminum or black. The standard 36 inch model measures 32-7/8 inches wide.  The unit ships with strike all the mounting screws and a hex dog key.

The offset door pull 44 is 5 inches by 12 inches.  It offers a 2 inch clearance with a 2-1/8 inch projection.  The mounting holes are 10 inches on centers.  The base block is 1 inch by 12 inches.

The Burns 617 Non-Locking Pocket Door Pull Set is 2-3/4 inches tall by 2-1/2 inches deep. The mortise dimensions are 2-5/16 inches tall by 1-7/8 inch deep. Base metal is Brass or Aluminum depending on the finish.

Many schools and hospitals have this door holder in use today. It features: Automatic door holders ideal for heavy-traffic situations that require a simple, fool-proof, Hold-Open device. Forged from brass. Unit is activated automatically when door is opened. A firm pull on door releases the mechanism. Strikes accommodate different door to floor clearances. Our Dark Bronze Oil Rubbed Bronze Door Kick Plates (US10B) are a baked on powder coat on brass base metal. We switched to this finish 5 years ago due to color variations in the US10B Oil Rubbed Bronze finishes. The US version was much lighter than the Asian version, which is where most the door hardware is made these days. The cost of Oil Rubbing was going through the roof and many platers were having issue with the environmental impact and EPA regulations in the United States. Our Oil Rubbed Kick Plates are 16 gauge (.050″) thick.

Kick Plates can be mounted by screws, two way tape, and they can be glued to the door. Our plates come standard with screw mounting. The manufacture sends #6 x 5/8″ Oval Phillips Undercut dark brown screw. The number of holes on the screw mounted plates is determined by an industry wide standardize template. A height between 6-10″ will have 10 holes for plates up to 33″ and 12 holes for plates between 33 and 40″.

You can order these plates with tape mounting, but on larger plates, it is not recommended. Large plates are too heavy and they most likely will not stick. We can also ship them with no holes, if you want to drill your own holes. You can glue them on, I would recommend liquid nails, and some C Clamps with the door on saw horses.

The 591 manual flush bolt is for wood doors and is UL listed. It is constructed of solid brass. The face plate is 1 x 6-3/4 inches. The mortised body is 6 inches high by 1-3/8 deep by 1 inch thick. The screw spacing is 1/2 by 6-1/4 inches on centers.

This Barn Door Pull Set features back to back handles that are thru-bolt mounted for a hassle-free setup.  The Grip is 6 inches on centers and is constructed of 3/4 inch round stock, and projects out 2-3/8 inch. The flush pull face dimensions are 2-1/2 by 7 inches. The mortise size of the flush pull are 2 x 7/8 deep x 1/4 inch.

The Door Pull Offset 3/4" Diameter #29 is constructed of either solid, Aluminum, Brass or Stainless Steel. The handle 3/4" diameter tubing with a 2-1/2" projection and 2-1/2" offset.  We find these on narrow stile aluminum framed glass storefront doors.  It comes standard with thru bolts and finish washers, but can be special ordered if you would like the handle mounted back to back or surface mounted. The 459 Flush Door Pull measures 3-3/8 x 4-3/4 x 1/8 inch.  The opening size is 1-3/4 by 3-1/2 inches.  The mortised pocket would need to be 3-3/4 by 2-13/16 and 11/16 deep. The flush pull ships with mounting screws in the matching finish.
