Solid brass kick plate, polished to mirror finish.  We can no longer get the solid brass plates, the lifetime polished brass will be shipped in its place.

The standard Polished Brass Door Kick Plate is a solid brass kick plate that is polished and then clear coated to prevent oxidation. These plates are 16 gauge or .050″ thick. A draw back of the Polished Brass Plates is oxidation. If the plate becomes scratched or dented, there is a good probability that the clear coat delaminates and moist could get under the surface. When this happens, the plate will tarnish. The brass base material is softer, so the chances of them becoming scratched or dented in commercial applications is pretty high.

Our plates come standard with screw mounting. The manufacture sends #6 x 5/8″ Oval Phillips Undercut brass screws. The number of holes on the screw mounted plates is determined by an industry wide standardize template. A height between 6-10″ will have 10 holes for plates up to 33″ and 12 holes for plates between 33 and 40″.   You can order these plates with tape mounting, but on larger plates, it is not recommended, the plates are too heavy and they most likely will not stick. We can also ship them with no holes. You can glue them on, I would recommend liquid nails, and come C Clamps with the door on saw horses.

I would highly recommend the Lifetime Brass if these plates are going to be mounted outside. Solid brass is soft, and tends to dent easily and the clear coat can be compromised. The Lifetime Brass plates do not require a clear and will last a lot, lot longer!

The Door Pull Plate 5012 is a .050" wought plate with Door Pull #12-6" center. The handle and plate are solid aluminum, brass or stainless steel depending on the finish ordered. Handles come with thru bolts and plate steel metal screws.

The Brushed Stainless Steel Door Kick Plate 18 Gauge .037 is the lightest duty stainless steel plate we offer .  Stainless steel offers one of the best material for commercial applications. They are very hard, and do not dent easily. The also offer the best corrosion resistances out there.  This plate is ideal as a replacement for Brushed Chrome kick plates. Brushed Chrome Kick Plates are usually a bronze plate that is chrome plated. The problem with bronze is it is a soft metal and dents easily. The stainless steel plates are a lot harder and more resistant to dents. Brushed chrome looks identical to brushed stainless steel.  We only use type 304 stainless.

 Stainless Steel Kick Plates can be mounted by screws, two way tape, and they can be glued to the door. Our plates come standard with screw mounting. The Sargent Door Closer 1431 is also known as the Powerglide.  This closer meets ADA requirements and has a capability to be mounted on the push, pull or top jamb, and is non handed.  This closer can be used as a direct replacement for the older version 1230 or 1231 Sargent Closers without having to re drill the mounting holes.  This closer has been the replacement for the 1230 since about 2000.  It is manufactured of an aluminum alloy.

Brass is a soft metal that dents easily, and also does not offer the corrosion resistance that stainless steel does. Since stainless steel is stable in any environment, they do not have to clear coat the plate.

This 2" x 3-3/4" pull plate is constructed of solid aluminum, brass or stainless steel depending on the finish. The plate is .125" thick and the diameter of the hole is 1-1/4 inches.

Finishes

The Anodized Black Aluminum Door Kick Plate 315AN are a flat black and match the black color we find on Storefront doors.  These plates have an aluminum base metal, which is 18 gauge (.040") thick that is then Anodized in the Black Color.  These plates relatively inexpensive.  Custom sizes are available, they run about $0.25 per square inch.

The Cal Royal Products CR441 Door Closer is an inexpensive replacement for the LCN 4040.  The mounting holes on the CR441 matches the 4040, at more than 1/2 the cost.  This closer will work on the left or right, push, pull or top jamb for mounting.   Just like the LCN 4040 it features adjustable spring tension, closing, latching and back check speeds.  It is considered a Grade 1 closer, which is the heaviest rating possible.

The process is called Poly Vapor Deposition or PVD, which is why we hear the name Lifetime Polished Brass Kick Plate PVD. Because the finish is an artificial brass, it does not have to be clear coated, so it will never tarnish. The Lifetime Polished Brass finish cost the same as the Solid Brass Polished Kick Plates.

The Cal Royal Products 900 Series Door Closer is a unique one, it is the only closer that has the 3/4" x 11-1/8" hole spacing.  We have seen a few versions of this closer, some have 6 mounting holes, and some have 4.  If your closer has a spacing of 11-1/8", and has 3 holes on each size, this is the only closer I know of that is like that.  The 900 Series is a Grade 1 closer, the heaviest duty rating possible.  The door closer has adjustable spring tension, closing, latching and back check valves and is Barrier Free rated.  The package comes with all of the  mounting screws and a parallel arm bracket, so it can be mounted on the left, right, push, pull or top jamb for mounting.

The 4590 Deadlatch Paddle is constructed of extruded aluminum and anodized to clear 628, dark bronze 313 or black 335. The Push Bar W/Offset Grip PP-2000 is what we usually find on most aluminum framed glass store front doors.  This particular set can usually ship within 24 hours, and comes in grip sizes of 9", 10" and 12" centers.  The push bar has 33-1/16" centers.   It is constructed of 1" solid aluminum that is anodize clear (aluminum) or dark brown.  It ships with all of the hardware needed for an 1-3/4" thick door.  At this time we are not able to sell the fasteners separately.

On solid doors, subtract 5" from the width of the door.  All the fasteners are included, and are determined by the material your door is made of (wood or metal).   Please allow 3-4 weeks on the Dark Bronze and Aluminum, and 2 weeks on the other finishes.

On solid doors, subtract 5" from the width of the door.  All the fasteners are included, and are determined by the material your door is made of (wood or metal).   Please allow 3-4 weeks on the Dark Bronze and Aluminum, and 2 weeks on the other finishes.

International Door Closer T5 Push Pull Back to Back Mounting Screw is used on the PB-2000, PP-2000 and the PH-4000. Overall length is 3-3/16 inches including the head, and has a 3/8 inch diameter. The head has a 7/16 diameter and stick out 5/8 inches.
