The Dor-O-Matic 2090 Panic Device has been around since the early 1970's.   Even though it is now called the Falcon 2090 Panic Hardware, it is the same exact device.  The 2090 provides balanced appearance, dependable performance and economical pricing, making it a popular choice where rim exit devices are required.  The package includes both housings, 41" crossbar (that can be cut in the field), mounting screws and strike.

The Detex ECL-230X Panic Device is a single point deadbolt device. One size fits 36 to 48 inch doors. The dead bolt has a 1 inch throw and is saw resistant. Locking and unlocking dead bolt always arms and disarms alarm.  The alarm is 100 decibels and is powered by a 9 volt battery. Email for more information.

The Sargent 281 Door Closer is also known as the Powerglide, This closers meets ADA requirements, meets the Buy American Act, and is certified Grade 1, the heaviest rating possible.  The closer has the capability to be mounted on the push, pull or top jamb, and is non handed.  This closer is the replacement for the 1250 and 1251 series closers.  This closer has been the replacement for the 1250 since about 2000.  It is manufactured of an aluminum alloy.

The Jackson Door Closer Offset Arm - 20-1312-LC is the replacement arm and track for the Jackson 20-330 Door Closer.  The track measures 12-7/8" long by 1/2" thick, and the arm has an overall length of 12-15/16" long with an offset of .826".  This set is for use with single acting doors with a 3/4" offset.  Package includes the arm and track.

Heavy Duty Design
The new Series 2670 Exit Alarm Lock provides secure protection through a large stainless steel deadbolt, which is 2" x 1/2" (51mm x 13mm) and has over a 3/4" (19mm) throw. The engagement area into the strike is over 1 1/4" (32mm) square inches. The cast aluminum latch case protects the internal mechanism and resists tampering or vandalism from inside the door. This unit has been tested to withstand up to 1600 pounds of static load force against the door.

The International Door Closer 853P Series is a common closer we see on a lot of storefront aluminum framed doors.  This is one of the last closers out there to still have sizing.  By sizing I mean each door closer has a spring size of different tension so the closer is selected depending on door size and whether it is interior or exterior.  These days we usually use this door closer as a replacement of existing doors.   The closer features two adjustment valves for closing and latching speeds.  The cylinder is constructed of precision cast aluminum.  If you have an exterior door I would recommend the 880 Series, which is the same door closer, but has a back check valve.  The back check valves will slow the door down if it is caught by a gust of wind.  It ships with a regular arm and parallel arm bracket.  This door closer is for use on doors up to 32” interior or 28” exterior doors.

The SEM7840 LCN Electro Magnetic Door Holder features a metal die cast housing that is surface wall mounted. Tri-voltage design works with 12, 24 or 120 volts, with 35 lbs. of holding force. The magnet housing measures 2-13/16" wide by 4-5/8" high. The armature (door mount part) is 1-11/16" wide by 2-3/8" high with a 1-7/8" diameter. The armature projects out 1-5/8". The total projection of both pieces is 2-5/8". The Sargent Door Closer 1331  is a standard template closer with the 3/4” x 12” hole spacing.  This closer is a great replacement for the Norton 8000 Series or Yale 3000 Series Door Closers.  The closer is constructed of a cast aluminum body and has a heat treated steel pinion and rack.  The 1331 has the ability to be mounted on the push, pull or top jamb, and is non handed.  We stock the aluminum finish, but also have the dark bronze finish, it just might take an extra day or so.  We ship the 1331-JUO.

The Von Duprin 98 Rim Panic device has been around since the late 1970's and has gone through a couple of improvements.  One of the great things about the 98 is the availability of replacement parts.  Even when the device is upgraded, the upgraded parts will work with the older versions that can be close to 40 years old.  This device is for all types of single and double doors with mullions.  The device is UL Listed for Panic Exit Hardware and is considered Grade 1, the heaviest duty rating possible.  The Von Duprin 98 device has a smooth mechanism case and the Von Duprin 99 device has a grooved case. The rim device is non-handed, meaning it will work on Left and Right hand doors.   Ships with all the mounting screws and the 299 Strike.

The SEM-7800-825 Armature for LCN Electro Magnetic Door Holder is the door mounted piece for th LCN SEM7820-825 / SEM7830-825 / SEM7840-825 / SEM7870-825 series.  It features a metal die cast construction armature. The armature (door mount part) is 1-11/16" wide by 2-3/8" high with a 1-7/8" diameter. The armature projects out 1-5/8". The Norton Door Closer 8501 is sometimes called the Omni Door Closer.  This door closer features a cast aluminum body, is a Grade 1 closer and has adjustable closing, latching, and back check speeds.  This closer is a non sized closer, meaning you adjust the spring tension to meet closing requirement for a ADA Barrier Free application all the way up to a 48” exterior door.  You cover might have 8501/8501BF 3501/3501BF, but the new version will cover the BF and non BF closers.  The difference between this closer and the 8301 is the size of the plastic cover.  The 8301 has a slim cover, and the 8501 has full cover.  The hole spacing on this door closer is 3/4” x 12”.

Adams Rite 8800 Panic Device

The 8800 features the Starwheel locking bolt that interlocks door to the door frame.  The 36" version is in stock, we can also get the 30", 42" and 48" devices, lead time is 2-3 weeks.  This device is used exclusively on aluminum framed glass storefront doors.  Replacement parts are available.

The Sargent Door Closer 1431 is also known as the Powerglide.  This closer meets ADA requirements and has a capability to be mounted on the push, pull or top jamb, and is non handed.  This closer can be used as a direct replacement for the older version 1230 or 1231 Sargent Closers without having to re drill the mounting holes.  This closer has been the replacement for the 1230 since about 2000.  It is manufactured of an aluminum alloy.

The Von Duprin 88 and 55 Wedge Tite Screw 090081 is used on the 55 and 88 panic hardware.  This screw applies pressure to the wedge which then expands the wedge ring to key the Von Duprin 88 and 55's crossbars tite.  The screw is a 5/16-18 x 5/8 hollow set point.

The International Door Closer 44CI Adjustable Spring Power is one of there heaver duty closers.   It is designed to line up with the LCN 4040 hole spacing at more than half the price.  It features a rugged cast iron body with a forged steel arm.  It also uses all weather fluid, is non handed and is non sized, meaning you can adjust the door for any size door.  The door closer we are selling here come with a regular arm and parallel arm bracket, so the closer can be mounted on the left or right, push, pull or top jamp.  The closer has 4 adjustments, closing, latching, and back check valves, a long with a spring power adjustment.

The Norton Door Closer 1601 has been around for the past 40 years.  With the advent of aluminum framed glass doors, Norton was on for the first manufactures to come up with a narrow stile door closer.  Because of this, it is still one of the most popular door closer model out there.  It is a Grade 1 closer and has adjustable closing, latching, and back check speeds.  The model we ship also has adjustable spring tension to work on a wider range of doors.  The hole spacing is 3/4” x 9-1/16”.

Older models may be stamped with Scoville or Eaton, which are the companies that used to own Norton.  We sometimes find 20-1624-4001, or 20-1604-4001 stamped on the back of the closer. If your door closer is stamped 20-1603-4001 or 20-1623-4001, you might want to double check the hole spacing. The 20-1603-4001 usually has a hole spacing of 3/4" x 8-3/16", you could use the International Door Closer 853 as a replacement.

With the advent of aluminum framed glass doors, Norton was one of the first manufactures to come up with a narrow stile door closer. The Barrier Free version just means you can turn the spring tension down to a size 1 spring, which will meet the ADA codes (less than 5 pounds of resistance). The model we ship also has adjustable spring tension to work on a wider range of doors. The hole spacing is 3/4” x 9-1/16”.

4" Kickdown Door Holder FS455

The H.B. Ives FS455 is what people think about when they say Kick Down Door Stop.  This design has been around for almost 50 years and is try and true.   Durable and ascetically pleasing to look at.  This door holder features a simple hold and release, activated with a touch of the foot.  They are constructed of cast brass or aluminum depending on the finish that you are looking for.  The rubber tip is a non-marring and is corrugated on the bottom so it will not slide on the floor, and is easily replaceable, look under related products for the replacement shoe.  This holder is for door to floor clearances of less than 2".  This is an ideal door holder for the home, office, church or school.
