The International Door Closer 1805BC-P - Fixed Spring Closer is one of the heaviest duty closers in the International product line.   It offers a 10 year warranty, and is Grade 1 rated, which is the highest rating you can have.  The closer features three adjustment valves for closing,latching speeds and one for back check.  The cylinder is constructed of precision cast aluminum.   It ships with a regular arm and parallel arm bracket.   This is one of the last closers out there to still have sizing.  By sizing I mean each door closer has a spring size of different tension so the closer is selected depending on door size and wether it is interior or exterior.  These days we usually use this door closer as a replacement of existing doors.   This door closer is for use on doors up to 54” interior or 48” exterior doors.

The Norton Door Closer Parallel Arm Bracket is the bracket shipped with the Norton 1600, 7500, 8301, 8501 and 9300 series closers.  This bracket is also used by Yale on there 2300, 50, 3301, 3501 and 4400 door closers.  The factory part number on this is 1618A for Norton and 289A for Yale.

The Norton Door Closer 1601 has been around for the past 40 years.  With the advent of aluminum framed glass doors, Norton was on for the first manufactures to come up with a narrow stile door closer.  Because of this, it is still one of the most popular door closer model out there.  It is a Grade 1 closer and has adjustable closing, latching, and back check speeds.  The model we ship also has adjustable spring tension to work on a wider range of doors.  The hole spacing is 3/4” x 9-1/16”.

Older models may be stamped with Scoville or Eaton, which are the companies that used to own Norton.  We sometimes find 20-1624-4001, or 20-1604-4001 stamped on the back of the closer. If your door closer is stamped 20-1603-4001 or 20-1623-4001, you might want to double check the hole spacing. The 20-1603-4001 usually has a hole spacing of 3/4" x 8-3/16", you could use the International Door Closer 853 as a replacement.

The Concealed Mount Push and Pull Plate Sets feature an 1/8 inch push plate with a 1/20 inch plate plate. The handle is surface mounted with thru mounted studs. 8 inch center handles are 3/4 inch diameter, 10 in and 12 inch center handles are 1 inch diameter.

The Falcon SC71 Door Closer used to go by the Doromatic SC71. This is a higher quality door closer at a more affordable price. This closer offers adjustable closing, latching and back check speeds, along with adjustable spring tension. It has the ability to be mounted on the push, pull or top jamb and is non handed. This closer is considered a Grade 1 closer, which is the highest grade you can get. The hole spacing is 2-3/8” x 6-3/4”, which is the same hole spacing as the Norton 7500 and Yale 4400 door closers. This is the cover for the Monarch Falcon 19-R Rim Device. The cover measures 5-7/8" tall by 2-1/2" wide with a projection of 1-7/8". We sometimes find the number 6133 - 000 cast into the inside of the cover.

Floor Door Stop Dome 1-1/4" Height 523

This contemporary looking Dome Stop has been a hot selling in the last few years.  The stop is constructed of forged brass, that is then chrome plated and brushed to the satin finish.  At this time, only brushed or satin chrome is available.  The base is 1-11/16" wide by 4" long and 1-1/4" tall.  The base is 1/2" thick.  This door stop ships with wood and machine screws and all of the anchors.

The Ives FB458 is a UL Listed Flush Bolt for use on Fire Doors. The face plate measures 1" wide by 6-3/4" long with a depth of 1-1/8". Hole spacing is 1/2 inch by 6-1/4 inches on centers. In April of 2023 Norton Yale have discontinued the 2300 and 9300.  The Norton 1600 will be sent in place of the 2300.   Same Hole Spacing, but adjustable spring tension.

The Panic Hex Key 1/8" is used on the new Adams Rite, Cal Royal, Jackson and many of the imported panic hardware like International Door Closer.  The key measures 1/8" by 1-13/16" long.  They are also known as Hex Key, Dog Key, Allen Key, and Dogging Key.

The Door Pull Plate 5021 is a .050" solid wought plate in either aluminum, brass or stainless steel depending on the finish. The Door Pull GHE21 has 6" centers, handles come with thru bolts. The plates are pre drilled with counter sunk holes and come with sheet metal screws.

Finishes

The Norton 7700SLD Slider for replacement of the 7700PT Series Power Track Closers.  This is the piece that slides in the track and the arm attaches to.  The unit measures 2-1/16" long by 1-1/4" wide and 5/8" thick, not including the metal clip on the back.

Ives FB31P Automatic Flush Bolt

This fully automatic flush bolt is used on the inactive metal fire door.  When the active door is opened the latches retract, when the active door closes the latches extend.  The Ives FB31P Body is 1” wide by 6-3/4” long and 2” deep. Bolt throw is 3/4” with a 7/8” adjustment with a 3/4” backset,  standard rod is 12” which is measured from the center of latch body to the bolt tip.

Rods are also available in 18”, 24” and 36”, call for pricing.  We ship the 12” rods, and this set includes the top and bottom flush bolts.

The Norton Door Closer Regular Arm is the standard arm that is shipped with the 9300, 1600, 8301, 8501 and 7500 door closers.  It will also work with the Yale 2300, 50, 3301, 3501 and 4400 series door closers.  This arm has had a bunch of different factory numbers over the years, including 1620-1, 7701-1 and 400-1.

The Door Pull Plate 5012 is a .050" wought plate with Door Pull #12-6" center. The handle and plate are solid aluminum, brass or stainless steel depending on the finish ordered. Handles come with thru bolts and plate steel metal screws.

The 8827 Special Chassis Nut goes on the ends of the 8827 Chassis Tie Rod. The Nut is threaded all the way through so the cover mounting screws can then be threaded on it also. The nut is 3/8" long by 1/4" hex.

4" Kickdown Door Holder Grand Standard

Frequently we are asked, “What is the heaviest duty kick down holder  you sell?”  The answer to that question is any of  Grand Specialty door holders.  These door stops are American made and simply the best out there.   They have a shoe that is held in place by a screw, a rivet instead of a roll pin for the hinging mechanism, and a “wedge” instead of a piece of spring steel to hold up the leg.  They are constructed of steel, and not cast like all of the other door holders made.

Another feature is their well constructed shoe can be adjusted down as the rubber wears making the holder last way longer than their competitors. Another use for them is as a door floor lock if mounted on the other side of the door. Once kicked down there's no entry possible unless you slide a flat item under the door to lift the door holder leg out of the way and push the door open. It can be opened from the inside as normal with your foot or hand. A very inexpensive security lock.
