Automatic Floor Type Holder and Stop

A replacement holder and stop that has been around for many years.   This style of Holder can be found in many of the schools, churches and hospitals that were built in the 1960's and 1970's.  Cast brass construction, and then chrome plated. Measures 3-11/16" high by 3" wide with a 1-15/16" projection. The strike is 1-3/16" high. Spring loaded brass roller, rolls over the the strike to lock the door in the open position. To release, just give the door a tug.  Designed for doors with a door to floor clearance of less than a 1/2".

The Offset 60 degree Door Pull is available in 8, 10 and 12 inch centers. The handle is constructed of 1 inch solid material, with the base metal determined by the finish (color). It features 1-1/8 clearance, 2-1/8 projection and has a 2 inch offset. The fasteners are 5/16-18 thru bolts with a finish washer. Please specify the door thickness when ordering.

The 460 ADA Flush Pull measures 5 inches by 5 inches  and is made of 1/8 inch material.  The opening size is 3-1/2 inches by 3 inches. The pull is fastened to the door with 10-24 by 5/8 inch security torx with barrel nuts.  The pull is designed for 1-3/4 thick doors, please specify if your door is thicker than 1-3/4 inches.  Available in Brushed and Polished Stainless Steel and also Powder Coated Flat Black and Dark Bronze.

The Hands-Free/Foot Door Pull BM46 can be used as a ADA compliant hands-free door pull when mounted 42" above the finished floor. Or as foot pull when mounted at the bottom of the door. The Pull is 4" x 5" and is made of .090 thick stainless steel. Ships with sex bolts and screws for 1-3/4" door. Available in Brushed Stainless Steel, Flat Black Powder Coat and Dark Bronze Powder Coat.

Floor Door Stop / Holder 536

The Stop and Holder 536 is considered a manual door holder.   It is a manual door holder because you have to physically bend over and hook and unhook the holder.  This holder is constructed cast brass or cast bronze and then plated to your desired finish.  The stop measures 2-1/2" in diameter and 3-7/8" overall height, with a center line height of 2-1/2" from the base to the center of the rubber stop.  It ships with all of the fasteners.

The Door Pull Offset #39 Handle is constructed of either solid aluminum, brass or stainless steel.  The handle is 1" diameter tubing with a 2-3/4" offset and 2-3/4" projection.  This is the most common type of handle you use today.  Just about every aluminum framed storefront door has a version of this handle.  This handle is available in 8", 10", 12" and 18" centers on the mounting holes.  If you have a 9" centered handle use the PH-4000.   It comes standard with thru bolts and finish washers, but can be special ordered if you would like the handle mounted back to back or surface mounted. Floor Door Stop 524

The 524 Door Stop is one of the more interesting door stops we have.   They are constructed of cast brass that is then plated to your finish.  It measures 1-1/4" in diameter and is 1-1/2" tall.  One of the benefits of this door stop is there are no exposed screws.  The 524 ships with a 12-24 x 1" machine screw, a plastic anchor and a lead anchor.

The Door Pull Offset 3/4" Diameter #29 is constructed of either solid, Aluminum, Brass or Stainless Steel. The handle 3/4" diameter tubing with a 2-1/2" projection and 2-1/2" offset.  We find these on narrow stile aluminum framed glass storefront doors.  It comes standard with thru bolts and finish washers, but can be special ordered if you would like the handle mounted back to back or surface mounted. The 533 Automatic Wall Type Holder and Stop is a commercial grade door holder.  The holder is mounted on the wall and strike is mounted on the door. It is constructed of cast brass, and measures 2 x 2-1/2 base and 2-1/8 inch high. Currently it is only available in brushed chrome.

The Brushed Bronze Door Kick Plates are solid bronze plates that are finished in a Satin or Brushed finish and then clear coated.  The Bronze Kick Plates are similar to the Brass Kick Plates, but they have more of an orange hue, were as the brass plates have a yellow hue.  This was a very popular finish in the 1950's, 60's and early 70's.  Custom sizes are available starting around $0.49 per square inch depending quantity.  Kick Plates come pre drilled with screws.  Please allow 2 week shipping time.

With the Handicap Door Pull 18 you are able to get a closed fist behind the pull, which makes it a great ADA Door Pull. Shipped with screws. Solid brass kick plate, polished to mirror finish.  We can no longer get the solid brass plates, the lifetime polished brass will be shipped in its place.

The standard Polished Brass Door Kick Plate is a solid brass kick plate that is polished and then clear coated to prevent oxidation. These plates are 16 gauge or .050″ thick. A draw back of the Polished Brass Plates is oxidation. If the plate becomes scratched or dented, there is a good probability that the clear coat delaminates and moist could get under the surface. When this happens, the plate will tarnish. The brass base material is softer, so the chances of them becoming scratched or dented in commercial applications is pretty high.

Our plates come standard with screw mounting. The manufacture sends #6 x 5/8″ Oval Phillips Undercut brass screws. The number of holes on the screw mounted plates is determined by an industry wide standardize template. A height between 6-10″ will have 10 holes for plates up to 33″ and 12 holes for plates between 33 and 40″.   You can order these plates with tape mounting, but on larger plates, it is not recommended, the plates are too heavy and they most likely will not stick. We can also ship them with no holes. You can glue them on, I would recommend liquid nails, and come C Clamps with the door on saw horses.

I would highly recommend the Lifetime Brass if these plates are going to be mounted outside. Solid brass is soft, and tends to dent easily and the clear coat can be compromised. The Lifetime Brass plates do not require a clear and will last a lot, lot longer!

The Anodized Black Aluminum Door Kick Plate 315AN are a flat black and match the black color we find on Storefront doors.  These plates have an aluminum base metal, which is 18 gauge (.040") thick that is then Anodized in the Black Color.  These plates relatively inexpensive.  Custom sizes are available, they run about $0.25 per square inch.

You can order these plates with tape mounting, but on larger plates and especially plates with a stainless steel base metal, it is not recommended.  Stainless Steel plates are too heavy and they most likely will not stick.  We can also ship them with no holes, if you want to drill your own holes.  This is fine on the Brass and Aluminum base metals, but again Stainless Steel is very hard and a drill press would be recommended.   You can glue them on, I would recommend liquid nails, and come C Clamps with the door on saw horses.
