The Doromatic 2390 Fixed Cover Screw is the screw that holds the Fixed Cover on. The screw is a 12-14 x 1/2" long UFPH MS Type 25 Screw. This is a self tapping screw.

New for 2024 the Falcon MEL 47867200 Mechanical Latch Retraction. Retrofits all 1690, 1790, 24 and 25 Series devices to Mechanical Latch Retraction. This new system uses the PS902 Power Supply.  The benefits for the MEL Series over the Older EL series are lower power draw (1 amp verse 16 amp), and more flexible power supply location, longer wire runs and thinner guage wires.

The Dor-o-Matic 1690/1990 Top Rod Latch Assembly PB130 is also used on the 1390, 1490 and 2390.  This latch has been around since the 1970's,  and is usually the issue if your bottom rod is dragging on the floor.  Although we are calling it Dor-o-Matic, it is actually known as a Falcon SU Top Latch due to a name change 5 or 6 years ago.  This latch rolls over when the device is pressed in and then locks in that position.  When the door closes, the 'U" channel of the latch flips over to a vertical postion and drops the rods.  This latch always uses the PB48 Strike, our part # G199034.  The Dor-o-Matic Panic Devices have been around since the late 1960’s, but have most recently been known as the Falcon Panic Device from a name change they had in about 2008.  They are basically the same device, with the same parts, just a different name plate.  Falcon part # PB130 or 4270101806.

The Dor-o-Matic Falcon 1690/1790 Hinge End Cap Kit PB314 includes both pieces and the mounting screws.  It is made of die cast metal that is powder coat painted to a black color.  This piece is mounted on the hinge side of the door.  Doromatic / Falcon part # ECAP.130 or PB314. The Dor-O-Matic 2390 231CA Cylinder Kit converts your 2390 exit only to a Night Latch or Hold Back function key lock.  All the hardware is included in the package to convert your device, except for the Mortise Cylinder.  Housing measures 4-1/2" tall by 1-11/16" wide with a 1-1/8" projection.  We send the 231CA which includes the Schlage B502-191 Cam.   The 239CA is the same kit, but without the Schlage Cam.

The Dor-o-Matic 2090 Backplate Assembly PB89 has been around since the early 1970's.  It is now called the Falcon 2090 Back Plate Sub Assembly, but it is the same thing, just different owners of the company.  This piece includes the plate casting, latch bolt, pinion gear, and retractor.

The design of the Doromatic 1690 is ideal for demanding, high-traffic applications. The vertical rods and latch mechanisms are concealed in the vertical door stile, ensuring trouble-free operation. Cast metal cover plates and end caps hold up to rigorous use. A quick, singlepoint dogging feature in the housing deactivates the device, permitting unrestricted traffic flow. The Doromatic 1690 may also be used to retrofit a Doromatic 1990 Series crossbar device.

The Dor-O-Matic 1690/1790/2390 Dogging Hex Shaft is the piece that your dog key (allen wrench) fits into the lock the device in the open or dogged position.  This shaft is used on the 1690, 1790, and 2390 device.  The Dor-o-Matic Panic Devices have been around since the late 1960’s, but have most recently been known as the Falcon Panic Device from a name change they had in about 2008.  They are basically the same device, with the same parts, just a different name plate.  The part that the hex key fits into is only about 1/4" deep, because of that these tend to get rounded out, so the key will not move the shaft. 

To remove the old shaft just pull with a pair of Channel Locks or Pliers.  To reinstall, just press it back in to position, you might have to bend the holding tabs back down, but we very rarely have to do this.  The manufacture part number on this is SHAFT.101.

The Dor-o-Matic 1990/2090 "E" Ring RRing.109 is use to connect the concealed rods to the Traveller Assembly (G199028, PB88, or 4270100013).  The rods fit through the traveller and rod bushings, and the Retaining Ring holds them in place.  This piece has a diameter of 1/2".   This item is now under the Falcon name plate.

The Dor-o-Matic 1690/1990 Top Strike PB48 is used on the Dor-o-Matic 1690, 1990 and 2390 Concealed Vertical Rod Exit and Panic Devices. The plate measures 1" x 1-1/16" with 4 holes. The mounting holes are 11/16" x 11/16" on center. The diameter of the pin is 7/16" and projects out 5/32". Falcon Dor-o-Matic 1590 Latch Bolt Assembly 4270107603

Replacement Latch Bolt Assembly for the Falcon Dor-o-matic 1590.   In the old days you could just replace the PB355 (SPRING.127) spring, but as of November 2015 you have to replace the complete latch head assembly.

For use on the Doromatic 1790 exit devices only. It will not work on the other Doromatic exit devices.  This Lever Trim is now reversible.   To change the hand all you have to do is remove the shear pin, rotate the handle and reinsert the shear pin.

Dor-o-Matic 1390 Dogging Assembly. If you have a 1390 and the dogging is stripped, this is the part you need. The package includes the Dogging Cam (4270102815), Activating Cam (4270106551), Spacer (4270108584), and Retaining Ring (4299100732).  The 1390 was discontinued in about 2003. Falcon Doromatic 1690, 1790, and 2390 replacement dogging assy. The dogging assembly is used to dog the door in the open position, so people can enter the building without having to unlatch the door for the inside or with a key on the outside.  The KIT.1197 comes complete with mounting screws.   Some of the earlier version where riveted into the rail, so you might need to drill out the rivets, the screws shipped with KIT.1197 have self tapping thread forming screws.

The Falcon Doromatic Latch Screw PB17 is also known as the SCREW.1029 and the GPB17.  The screw is a 10-32-1/4" with an undercut head.  This screw is used to hold the top and bottom latches on the door for the 1690 and 1990 series devices.

The Doromatic 1990 Panic Device has a long history of reliable performance.  Although it is now called the Falcon 1990, they are the same device.  This device is non handed, meaning it can go on left hand or right hand door.  The standard included 41" crossbar will work on doors up 3'8" wide, and the stardard rods will work on a 7' door.  It is equipped with hardened steel latches and adjustable strike to ensure safety, security and quiet operation.  The package includes all of the mounting screws and strikes.

The Falcon / Doromatic Door Closer SC91 is an affordable, high quality closer for residential or light commercial applications.  They used to be know as the Doromatic SC90, but in about 2008, they changed it to the Falcon SC91.  This closer offers adjustable closing, latching and back check speeds, along with adjustable spring tension.  It has the ability to be mounted on the push, pull or top jamb and is non handed.  This closer is considered a Grade 3 closer, which is the lightest grade you can get.   The hole spacing is 3/4” x 6-3/8”.  We ship the SC91 Rw/PA.
