The LCN 1370 was a door closer made in the late 1990's to 2006 or so. The closer had a special mounting plate that made installation very quick. Many people have this door closer in use and now they are starting to fail. The LCN 1370-18QF Quick Fix Plate converts the mounting holes of the 1370 to a standard template closer, which is 3/4" x 9-1/16". By using this plate you will not have to redrill holes in your door. The plate measures 2 by 10-1/4 inches with tapped holes that measure 3/4 x 9-1/16 inch.

The SEM7840-516 LCN Magnet Core Assembly is just the Tri Voltage Magnet Core. 35 pounds of holding force at nominal input voltage. Maximum current draw is .020 A @ 24 volt and 120 volt, and .030 A @ 12VDC. Cylinder is 1-3/4" diameter and projects out 7/8" out from the mounting plate.

The LCN Door Closer Regular Arm 3077 ships with 95 percent of there door closers.   This is the standard regular.   Specify your current closers model number when ordering. Not all of the LCN closers have the same shape spindle on the door closer cylinder. The LCN Door Closer 4021 is also known as the Smoothee.  The 4021 ships with regular arm, standard plastic cover, and self reaming and tapping screws.  The 4021 is considered an application specific closer.  Meaning you have to specify left and right swing door, and can only be mounted top jamb.  A top jamb mount is when the closer is mounted on the top rail of the door frame and the arms hangs down and attaches to the door.  Top Jamb door closers are also mounted on the pull side of the door.  The Non sized cylinder will work on just about any size interior or exterior door and meets ADA requirements.  We ship the 4021 REG.

The LCN Door Closer 4011 is known as the Smoothee.  The door closer ships with regular arm, standard plastic cover, and self reaming and tapping screws.  This is considered an application specific closer, meaning you have to specify left and right swing door, and it can only be mounted as a regular armed closer.  A regular armed closer is a closer that is mounted on the pull side of the door.  The non sized clinder will work on doors from 30" to 60" interior doors, or 26" to 48" exterior doors, and can be adjusted to meet ADA specifications.  This door closer is ideal for areas of high traffic and abuse, like schools or any other areas of extreme use.  We ship the 4011 REG.

The LCN Door Closer Cover is the standard plastic cover that ships with LCN Door Closers.   Specify your current closers model number when ordering. Not all of the LCN closers have the same shape cover on the door closer cylinder.  The part number is the Series Number followed by -72.   So, the part number would be 1460-72, 4010-72, 4020-742, 4030-72, 4040-72 and 4110-72.   We have access to all the covers, if yours is not here call us and we will quote you a price.

LCN Door Closer 4111 HCUSH Hold Open

Standard 4110 series closer shipped with HOLD OPEN CUSH N STOP arm, standard plastic cover, 4110-201 FIFTH SCREW SPACER and self reaming and tapping screws. Sized cylinders adjustable for interior doors to 5’0” and exterior doors to 4’0”. Non-sized cylinder adjustable for interior doors to 4’6” and exterior doors to 3’6”. Closer mounts parallel arm, specify right or left swinging door. 4111 cylinder meets ADA requirements. The cush hold open arm allows for a stop and hold open positions up to 110 degrees. "T" handle on arm will release door for closing, locking pin can be retracted for normal door closing operation.

The LCN 79 Door Closer Rod And Shoe  piece fits into the female part of all LCN Regular Arms. The old style had two concave set screws and a ball pressed into the rod. If the door over rotated the ball would pull out of the concave set screws. The new version has a pin holding the rod to the shoe which is designed to fail if the door is over rotated. This piece will work on the LCN 1260, 1460, 4010, 4020, 4030 and 4040 door closers with regular arms. Some of the really old models have multiple threaded holes, so you might have to drill a hole in the female tube. Part #'s 4040-79, 4040-79LR and 4040-79ELR. The 1260, 1460, 4010, or 4020 could replace the 4040 in those part numbers, they are the same.
