Falcon / Dor-o-Matic EL1790 Panic Device

The same as the Falcon / Dor-o-Matic 1790 with Mechanical Electric Latch Retraction. Some of the features are listed below. A power supply is required.

The International Door Closer 883P Series is a common closer we see on a lot of storefront aluminum framed doors.  This is one of the last closers out there to still have sizing.  By sizing I mean each door closer has a spring size of different tension so the closer is selected depending on door size and wether it is interior or exterior.  These days we usually use this door closer as a replacement of existing doors.   The closer features three adjustment valves for closing,latching speeds and one for back check.  The cylinder is constructed of precision cast aluminum.   It ships with a regular arm and parallel arm bracket.  This door closer is for use on doors up to 32” interior or 28” exterior doors.

Function is the Doromatic/Falcon Door Closer Model

The design of the Doromatic 1690 is ideal for demanding, high-traffic applications. The vertical rods and latch mechanisms are concealed in the vertical door stile, ensuring trouble-free operation. Cast metal cover plates and end caps hold up to rigorous use. A quick, singlepoint dogging feature in the housing deactivates the device, permitting unrestricted traffic flow. The Doromatic 1690 may also be used to retrofit a Doromatic 1990 Series crossbar device.

Shipped with all screws and strikes. The 1690NL Cylinder Assembly (169CA) is required if you wish to use a key cylinder on the exterior, SEE RELATED PRODUCTS toward the bottom of the page.

The Dor-o-Matic Falcon 4758959 Soleniod is used on the EL1690, EL1790, and EL2390 Electric Latch Retraction exit devices.  The Solenoid measures 4-1/8 inches long including mouting flange, and has an 1-3/4 inch diameter.  The mounting screw spacing is 1 inch on centers. The Plunger is included and has a 7/8 inch diameter and is 2-15/16 inches long.  We find the number 971687 on the solenoid.

The Jackson Door Closer Center Hung Arm - 20-2000 is used on double acting doors with the 20-330 concealed door closer.  The arm measures 9-1/2" long by 15/16" thick.

The Falcon OHC100 and OHC101 Door Closer Body Only are designed for a wide variety of Doors.   The OHC100 is for use on larger exterior doors and has spring size adjustments of 3-5.   The OHC101 is designed for smaller or interior vestibule doors, with an adjustable spring size of 1-3.

This Barn Door Pull Set features back to back handles that are thru-bolt mounted for a hassle-free setup.  The Grip is 6 inches on centers and is constructed of 3/4 inch round stock, and projects out 2-3/8 inch. The Falcon 25-R Center Case Kit 650239 for non Fire Rated Doors.  A non Fire Rated door is usually an exterior door, or a door that is not designed to contain the spread of fire.

The Falcon 650388 Latch Cover is for use on the Monarch and Falcon 19-V Series.  The latch is made of high impact black plastic and ships with the mounting screws.  The manufactures part number is 650388, the old Monarch part number was 3781.

Falcon 299 Strike

The Falcon 299 Strike is used on the 25-R and 24-R Devices.  The 299 strike measures 1-1/4" wide by 2-7/8" high with a slotted hole spacing of 2-1/8". The roller projects out 13/16".  This strike is the same as the Von Duprin 299 Strike.

Monarch 912L Panic Device Lever Trim

The Monarch / Falcon 912L Lever Trim is for use on the Monarch / Falcon 19 Series.  The 912L measures 7-1/4" high by 1-3/4" wide and the mounting plate is 5/8" thick.  We ship these with the Dane Lever, which projects out 2-7/8" in the Classroom function.  On the Classroom function the key locks and unlocks the lever handle, the Key Cylinder is not included.  We offer this Lever Trim in Painted Aluminum, Painted Dark Bronze, and Brushed Satin Nickel.

The Dor-O-Matic 2090 Panic Device has been around since the early 1970's.   Even though it is now called the Falcon 2090 Panic Hardware, it is the same exact device.  The 2090 provides balanced appearance, dependable performance and economical pricing, making it a popular choice where rim exit devices are required.  The package includes both housings, 41" crossbar (that can be cut in the field), mounting screws and strike.

The International Door Closer Arm 3010-K is for end loading top arm assembly (5/8" depth top rail). All screws included with package.  This arm is for center hung concealed closer applications.   For use with the 2000, 3000 and 5000 series International Door Closers.

The Falcon 1590 Retractor RTR10 is one of the components you need to convert a Exit Only device to a NL or HB device.  The RTR10 along with the 159CA-NL or 159CA-HB is all you need, along with a Key Cylinder.

The Falcon 600293 E Trim Solenoid PKG is used on the 25 Series Electrified Lever Trim.  The unit can be used for Fail Safe or Fail Secure applications, depending on how the unit is installed.  The piece measures 3/4" diameter by 1-1/2" long, with a 3/4" hole spacing.  We sometimes find the numbers 661375-00 and 610306-00 on a stick on this piece.  The package ships with two mounting screws.   This unit is called the FSA/FSE Solenoid Kit on their parts breakdowns and in their price book.  The Falcon/Monarch part number is 600293.

The Falcon Dor-O-Matic RM70 Mullion Bracket Kit includes the top and bottom brackets and all of the mounting screws.

The Falcon 712L Lever Trim is used for the XX-C, 18-C, and all 24 Series Falcon Devices.  The XX-C and 18-C are the obsolete concealed vertical rod Monarch Exit Devices. The Trim is non handed or field reversible. The Key locks or unlocks the Lever. The escutcheon measures 1-3/4" wide and 7-1/4" long.

The 590 is made of solid brass and ships with matching screws.  The faceplate measures 1 x 6-3/4 inches, the strike is 15/16 x 2-1/4 inches and comes standard with a 12 inch rod.  The mountng screws are 1 x 6-1/4 inches on centers.
