Floor Door Stop Dome 1-3/8" FS438

We ship the H.B. Ives FS438 Floor Dome Stop, another product made by Ives that has been around for 50 plus years.  Take a walk around a school made in the 1960's and you will probably find this door stop, or the hole were it used to be.  This Dome Stop is used on doors without thresholds that have a bottom of the door to floor clearance of less than 5/8".  The are constructed of cast aluminum or cast bronze depending on the finish you are looking for.  The rubber stop is non-marring and replaceable.  The stop has a base that is 1-3/4" x 2" oval, an overall height of 1-3/8" and a base height of 9/16".

The LCN Door Closer 4011FL is shipped with fusible link arm, standard plastic cover, and self reaming and tapping screws. Sized cylinders for interior doors to 5’0” and exterior doors to 4’0”. The International Door Closer 883P Series is a common closer we see on a lot of storefront aluminum framed doors.  This is one of the last closers out there to still have sizing.  By sizing I mean each door closer has a spring size of different tension so the closer is selected depending on door size and wether it is interior or exterior.  These days we usually use this door closer as a replacement of existing doors.   The closer features three adjustment valves for closing,latching speeds and one for back check.  The cylinder is constructed of precision cast aluminum.   It ships with a regular arm and parallel arm bracket.  This door closer is for use on doors up to 32” interior or 28” exterior doors.

Direct replacement for the older style Norton 1602 and 1603, and Yale 52 and 53

The 1200 Series touch pad with "Soft-Touch" insert requires slight pressure anywhere on the bar insert for instant release of the locking mechanism. The Von Duprin 99 Rim Panic device has been around since the late 1970's and has gone through a couple of improvements.  One of the great things about the 99 is the availability of replacement parts.  Even when the device is upgraded, the upgraded parts will work with the older versions that can be close to 40 years old.  This device is for all types of single and double doors with mullions.  The device is UL Listed for Panic Exit Hardware and is considered Grade 1, the heaviest duty rating possible.  The Von Duprin 98 device has a smooth mechanism case and the Von Duprin 99 device has a grooved case. The rim device is non-handed, meaning it will work on Left and Right hand doors.   Ships with all the mounting screws and the 299 Strike.

4" Kickdown Door Holder Grand Standard

Frequently we are asked, “What is the heaviest duty kick down holder  you sell?”  The answer to that question is any of  Grand Specialty door holders.  These door stops are American made and simply the best out there.   They have a shoe that is held in place by a screw, a rivet instead of a roll pin for the hinging mechanism, and a “wedge” instead of a piece of spring steel to hold up the leg.  They are constructed of steel, and not cast like all of the other door holders made.

Another feature is their well constructed shoe can be adjusted down as the rubber wears making the holder last way longer than their competitors. Another use for them is as a door floor lock if mounted on the other side of the door. Once kicked down there's no entry possible unless you slide a flat item under the door to lift the door holder leg out of the way and push the door open. It can be opened from the inside as normal with your foot or hand. A very inexpensive security lock.

Installation and Programming Instructions

The 594 is constructed of solid brass. The latch bolt is 5/8 inch half round with a 9/16 inch throw.  The bolt ships with mounting screws and strike. The latch bolt has a chamfered end to draw the door in.

Standard 4040 LCN series closer shipped with regular arm, standard plastic cover, and self reaming and tapping screws.  Non-sized cylinder is adjustable for interior doors to 5’0” and exterior doors to 4’0”.  Closer mounts hinge side, top jamb, and parallel arm w/PA Shoe on either right or left swinging doors.  Closers to meet ADA requirements.

No longer made, the 4040XP will be shipped in its place.

The Norton PTO PowerTrack for 7705 is a replacement piece for the 7705PTO Door Closer.  The Track includes the Slider, Soleniod and new mounting screws.  The Track measures 21-1/4" long with a hole spacing of 19" on centers.   The PTO Track is for the Pull Side of the door, also known as the Hinge Side because you can see the hinges on that side.  On the PTO Track Assembly you can see the Two Mounting Holes

The Norton Traditional Door Closer 78 B/D is a door closer used in historic buildings.  This is a replica of the original cast iron door closer used from the 1920’s to 1960’s.  The new version is made of a cast aluminum alloy material, and should only be used when you are trying to keep historic designations.  The hole spacing on this closer is 1-3/8" x 4-1/4”.

Sargent 80 series Lexan Touch Pad Kit replaces old and or broken touch pad inserts. On the Sargent part break downs this would be Touch Bar part number 68-0607 and Base 68-0606. The base is 13-1/2" long with 3 mounting holes 4" apart on center.

The International Door Closer Arm and Track 3020-VO is for offset top arm assemblies, with the track mortised in the top of the door.  This track and arm are for the 7/8" depth of top rail application.  Track measures 12-5/8" long by 1/2" high by 1-1/4" wide.  For use with the 2000, 3000 and 5000 series concealed closers.

The LCN Door Closer Regular Arm 3077 ships with 95 percent of there door closers.   This is the standard regular.   Specify your current closers model number when ordering. Not all of the LCN closers have the same shape spindle on the door closer cylinder. The fitting for the 4040 is a six sided, the 4010, 4020 and 4110 have a flat sided oval, and the 1260 and 1460 have an eight sided star.  The LCN Part #'s on this Regular Arm is: 1260-3077, 1460-3077, 4010-3077, 4020-3077,  and  4040-3077.  If your model is not here, call us and we will quote you a price.

The F20 or GJF20 was a mainstay of Glynn-Johnson for years.  When the Glynn-Johnson door stop line merged with H.B. Ives it became the FS20.  This door stop has been discontinued from Ives, but we have been able find a large stock.   This Floor Mounted Door Stop also holds the door open, when in the latched position you can push the door and the holding latch will flip up and unlock thee holding clip.   It is constructed of cast bronze or brass and then plated to your desired finish.   This stop has a 2-1/2" long base that is 1-1/2" wide.  The overall height is 3-1/8" with a 2-5/16" floor to rubber stop centerline.    For use with door undercut up to 2-1/2".

The Detex D Lever Trim is used on the 10, 20, 21 and 27 Series exit devices. The D Lever is designed to be as heavy duty as their exit devices. It features a break-away lever to prevent damage. The escutcheon measures 2-3/4 x 9-1/16 inches, with a plate thickness of 7/8 inch. We ship the classroom function, which locks and unlocks the lever.

The Ives Roller Bumper Straight Arm 4" RB471 are ideal if you have situations where doors meet each.   They are constructed cast brass or bronze and are then plated to the desired finish.   The arm projects 4-1/2" and the base has a 2" diameter.   The device was just like the Glynn-Johnson RB4 or GJRB4.

Wood Door Automatic Flush Bolt FB41

H.B. Ives FB41 Series are sold has Top, Bottom or in Pairs (top and bottom). Fully automatic, inactive door is latched when active door closes, bolts retract when active door is opened. Top Bolt has no spring tension. They are non handed, but the top and bottom bolts are different. The body size is 1" wide, 8-1/2" tall and 2" deep, the bolts have a 3/4" throw with a 7/8" vertical adjustment.

The LCN Door Closer 4011 is known as the Smoothee.  The door closer ships with regular arm, standard plastic cover, and self reaming and tapping screws.  This is considered an application specific closer, meaning you have to specify left and right swing door, and it can only be mounted as a regular armed closer.  A regular armed closer is a closer that is mounted on the pull side of the door.  The non sized clinder will work on doors from 30" to 60" interior doors, or 26" to 48" exterior doors, and can be adjusted to meet ADA specifications.  This door closer is ideal for areas of high traffic and abuse, like schools or any other areas of extreme use.  We ship the 4011 REG.

The LCN 4050 Rw/PA Door Closer is a newer Closer and is a direct replacement for the Norton 7500, Yale 4400, and Falcon/Dor-o-Matic SC70 Series Door Closers.  It features, a cast aluminum cylinder, 25 year warranty, powder coated finishes, and stick on mounting template.  This door closer comes with the ability to mount on the push, pull or top jamb and is non handed.   The door closer meets Grade 1-ANSI A156.4, UL/cUL, ADA and the Buy American Act certifications.
