The Barracuda Model DSO is for Out Swinging 36" Doors and provides up to 550 pounds of security.   It is constructed of heavy duty steel with a durable powder coated finish.  The bar goes across the door frame and grabs the lever or knob set with an adjustable clamp.  To secure the door, simply turn the handle until it is secured.  They currently offer two models, one for jambs up to 5-3/4" and one for jambs greater than 5-3/4".  This device ships with all of the hardware and a wall mounting rack for storage.

The Von Duprin 990DT Trim is known as a Dummy Trim.  This plate mounts on the exterior of the door, and the welded on mounting studs line up with the 99 device on the interior of the building.  If you have a different manufacture or a different Von Duprin series on the interior, it will not line up.  On the back of this plate we usually find the number 990 stamped on it.  The plate shown here is for the Rim and Surface Vertical Rod 99 and 98 devices.  If you have a Mortise or Concealed Vertical Rod, call us and we will order that model.  The plate measures 3" wide by 14-3/16" tall.  Order here for the 990DT-R&V.

The 4412HSA SENTRONIC® is an electrically controlled closer/holder designed to provide easy passage for groups of pedestrians through high traffic doors. Pedestrians, moving through the doorway, trigger the built-in scanner. When the door is opened to 80° or more, the door is electrically held open to minimize wear and tear on applied door hardware. After the last pedestrian in a group passes through the doorway, the system timer releases the hold-open, closing the door under control of the heavy duty closer. The Dor-o-Matic 2090 Backplate Assembly PB89 has been around since the early 1970's.  It is now called the Falcon 2090 Back Plate Sub Assembly, but it is the same thing, just different owners of the company.  This piece includes the plate casting, latch bolt, pinion gear, and retractor.

The Von Duprin Panic Device 230TP Trim is for use on the 22 and 2227 series only.  The key cylinder locks and unlocks the thumb piece.  The plate measures 3" wide by 12-1/16" with a plate thickness of 3/32".

The Detex ECL-230D-PH Alarmed Exit Device is a battery operated, rugged deadbolt panic device, and is UL-Listed Panic Hardware for 36" to 48" doors. The steel paddle is photo-luminescent sign providing managed security and a 100 decibel alarm for secondary exits. The device features a single point 1" dead bolt, attack resistant design withstands over 2200 pounds of outside pull force, and is non handed. Locking and unlocking the dead bolt always arms and disarms the alarm. Rim Cylinder is not included.

The Adams Rite 31-0265-01-IP is used on the current versions of their devices for Cylinder Dogging. Cylinder Dogging is when you have a Mortise Cylinder to lock the device in the unlocked positions (Dogged). Very similar to the Hex Key Dogging Assembly, but the mounting plate is longer.

The Von Duprin 970321 299 Strike Shim is for use with the Von Duprin 299 and Falcon FA299 strikes.   The plate measures 2-7/8 x 1-1/4" x 1-16" thick.   The product is sold individually.

The LCN 4040SE Sentronic Door Closer is a heavy duty, non-handed, non-sized closer/holder designed to provide single point hold-open for fire and smoke barrier doors. The door is held open until current interruption releases the holding mechanism and the door closes. Single lever (track) arm closer is specifically designed for interior doors. Choice of finishes, track functions, and installation accessories meet virtually all life safety requirements.  The SE stands for Single Point Electronic, with this closer the hold open point can only be one point, so the closer has to be positioned on the door to get the proper hold open point.

This technology has been around since 1972, but back then you would order the 4110SE or 4010SE.  These were  application specific closers, so you had to specify the hand of the door, door size,  and the type of mounting.  If you do have an older version, the 4040SE will replace it.

The 524T has 1-1/4 inch diameter by 2-1/2 inches tall. It is constructed of brass and then powder coated flat black or brushed chrome plated. This stop ships with a lead anchor, 12-24 x 1 inch machine screw, #12 x 1-1/2 inch SMS with plastic anchor.

The Falcon SC71 Door Closer used to go by the Doromatic SC71. This is a higher quality door closer at a more affordable price. This closer offers adjustable closing, latching and back check speeds, along with adjustable spring tension. It has the ability to be mounted on the push, pull or top jamb and is non handed. This closer is considered a Grade 1 closer, which is the highest grade you can get. The hole spacing is 2-3/8” x 6-3/4”, which is the same hole spacing as the Norton 7500 and Yale 4400 door closers. The Dor-O-Matic STK170 are the strikes used on their RM170.  The are sold as a kit and include both plates, enough for one mullion.  They 2-7/8 inches tall by 1-3/4 inches wide and 1 inch thick.

Doromatic PB48 Strike Shim Package Of 10 Pieces

This Dor-o-Matic product is for the PB48 Top Strike. This is the shim that goes under the top strike. The plate measures 1" x 1-1/16" with 4 holes. The mounting holes are 11/16" x 11/16" on center. They are only sold in packages of 10.

Floor Door Stop-Security  FS18 is designed for areas of high vandalism.   The molded rubber is flame resistant and mounted to a 5/8" threaded mounting shaft.  Once the 7/8" diameter hole is drilled to a depth of 2-1/2" it can be grouted in concrete and leaves no exposed fasteners.  The recommended grout is Thorogrip.  They are ideal for jail or security cell areas.  There are two versions of this door stop one projects 1-1/2" (FS18S) out of the floor and the other 3" (FS18L).

The Dor-o-Matic 1690/1990 Top Strike PB48 is used on the Dor-o-Matic 1690, 1990 and 2390 Concealed Vertical Rod Exit and Panic Devices. The plate measures 1" x 1-1/16" with 4 holes. The mounting holes are 11/16" x 11/16" on center. The diameter of the pin is 7/16" and projects out 5/32". Ships with mounting screws and 3 shim plates.  The Dor-o-Matic Panic Devices have been around since the late 1960’s, but have most recently been known as the Falcon Panic Device from a name change they had in about 2008.  They are basically the same device, with the same parts, just a different name plate.  Falcon part # PB48.

Ives FB458 Metal Door Flush Bolt

The Ives FB458 is a UL Listed Flush Bolt for use on Fire Doors. The face plate measures 1" wide by 6-3/4" long with a depth of 1-1/8". Hole spacing is 1/2 inch by 6-1/4 inches on centers. The bolt has a 3/4" throw and is 1/2" diameter. This Flush Bolt is available in Polished Brass, Oil Rubbed Bronze (dark brown) and Brushed Chrome. We try to stock the 12" rods, which are standard, but we can also get 18", 24", 36" and 48"

Automatic Floor Type Holder and Stop

A replacement holder and stop that has been around for many years.   This style of Holder can be found in many of the schools, churches and hospitals that were built in the 1960's and 1970's.  Cast brass construction, and then chrome plated. Measures 3-11/16" high by 3" wide with a 1-15/16" projection. The strike is 1-3/16" high. Spring loaded brass roller, rolls over the the strike to lock the door in the open position. To release, just give the door a tug.  Designed for doors with a door to floor clearance of less than a 1/2".
