For example, many of the door closer arms we carry will only work with a certain brand of closer. One brand of door closer arms we distribute products from is Corbin Russwin. This company makes regular, hold open, parallel and heavy-duty arms along with the related parts.
The Corbin Russwin Regular Arm for 2800 is the arm that is typically shipped out with 2800 closers. It can be used with several different Corbin Russwin closer series including the 2810, 2820, 2800, DC3210, DC6210, plus older versions of the 110, 120 and 100 closers.
This non-handed arm can be used on closers that have different mounting methods including top jamb, regular and parallel. The colors you can select are dark bronze, brass and aluminum. Hopefully, this helps to give you a general idea of the different product features the other door closer arms from this brand may or may not have.
Dorma is another well-known manufacturer that we distribute door closers arms and various parts from. The door closer arms form this brand that we carry have some very unique and specific product features.
Take for example the Dorma 8812 Offset Slide Arm for RTS88 that we carry. This door closer arm is used in offset slide arm packages such as the RTS25, RTS26, RTS27, RTS28, RTS29, RTS30 and RTS31. It is commonly used when 4-½ inch wide butt hinges or ¾ inch offset hinges are involved and on single-acting doors.

The parts that we carry for door closer arms include brackets, shoes, power tracks, studs, stud retaining rings, sliders and more. Arm brackets are one of the main arm related parts that we have in our inventory.
In our selection of brackets, we have about eight unique styles of parallel arm brackets for door closers. If you require a parallel arm or bracket, this indicates that the closer should be installed on the door’s push side. When the door is closed, the arm should be parallel to it.
The Corbin Russwin Regular Parallel Arm Bracket is typically shipped out with their parallel arm mount closers. Another similar option would be the Corbin Russwin Hold Open Arm Parallel Bracket which is typically shipped when you order their hold open arm.
This part differs from the aforementioned part in that it should only be applied with the hold open arm for parallel installations. See the product pictures to get a glimpse of what each one looks like.
We also have the International 525 Parallel Bracket. This is the bracket that will normally be shipped out with most of the closers from this brand. The other bracket option for this brand of door closer arms is the heavy-duty International 526 Parallel Arm Bracket which can be used with the Hold Open Door Closer Arm 522.
We also carry door closer arm brackets that were manufactured by Norton Door Controls. This includes the Norton Parallel Arm Bracket and the Norton Hold Open Parallel Bracket. These two door closer arm brackets can also be used with certain closers that were manufactured by the Yale brand.
Another option for door closer arm brackets that we provide are from the Sargent manufacturers. The Sargent Hold Open Parallel Bracket is for their hold open arms whereas the Sargent Parallel Arm Bracket 125-P should be used to convert the 25-O regular arm to a parallel arm mount.

The Jackson Door Closer Offset Arm - 20-1312-LC is the replacement arm and track for the Jackson 20-330 Door Closer. The track measures 12-7/8" long by 1/2" thick, and the arm has an overall length of 12-15/16" long with an offset of .826". This set is for use with single acting doors with a 3/4" offset. LCN Door Closer Regular Arm 3077
The LCN Door Closer Regular Arm 3077 ships with 95 percent of there door closers. This is the standard regular. Specify your current closers model number when ordering. Not all of the LCN closers have the same shape spindle on the door closer cylinder. The fitting for the 4040 is a six sided, the 4010, 4020 and 4110 have a flat sided oval, and the 1260 and 1460 have an eight sided star. This heavy duty Parellel Arm can be used with the Norton 1600, 9300, 8000 and 7500 door closers. The knob on the main are locks and unlocks the arm to hold your door open.

Norton Door Closer 7700 Series Power Track Arm
Norton 7700 Series Power Track Arm
Arm is shipped will all of the necessary hardware. This assembly includes the 7701ST-1AT Adjusting Head and Tube Assembly, and the 7701ST-1AR Adjusting Rod Assembly. The square shaft measures 7/16" x 7/16". The aluminum finish ships within 24 hours, dark bronze will take a little longer.

International Door Closer Arm and Track 3020-VO
The International Door Closer Arm and Track 3020-VO is for offset top arm assemblies, with the track mortised in the top of the door. This track and arm are for the 7/8" depth of top rail application. Track measures 12-5/8" long by 1/2" high by 1-1/4" wide. For use with the 2000, 3000 and 5000 series concealed closers.

Dorma 8831 Top Arm | For use with RTS88
The Dorma 8831 Top Arm for RTS88 is for use on Single and Double Acting doors. This arm is known as a side load arm, and usually has a notch in the door at the top to access the arm fastening block. This piece measures 10-1/2" long by 1-3/8" wide at the widest part, and is 1/2" thick. This is the standard arm in the RST01 and RST02 Packages.

Norton / Yale Door Closer 7701-3 Hold Open Arm
The Norton / Yale Door Closer 7701-3 Hold Open Arm is the standard hold open arm shipped with Norton and Yale Door Closers. It is known as a Friction Hold Open, because as the arm rotates it tightens down two plates together. Adjusting the large hex bolt on the Hold Open Assembly determines where the arm will hold open. This part has had a couple of numbers over the years 7701-3, 1620-3 for Norton and 400-3 for Yale.

Corbin Russwin Door Closer Hold Open Arm
The Corbin Russwin Door Closer Hold Open Arm has been around for the past 40 years. This replacement hold open arm will work on the older Corbin 100, 110, and 120's, and the Russwin 2800, 2810 and 2820's. Along with the DC3210 and DC6210 Door Closers. This is considered a Friction Hold Open Arm because as the arm rotates the arm tightens on itself and holds the arm in the open position. This arm is also known as the A1 arm. Sargent Parallel Arm Bracket 125-P
The Sargent Parallel Arm Bracket 125-P is for use with the 25-O regular arm, to convert it to a parallel arm mount. A parallel arm mount is when the door closer is mounted on the push side of the door and the arm is parallel to the door when in the closed position.

Sargent Regular Arm 25-O
The Sargent Regular Arm 25-O is now used on all of there commercial grade closers. This is the standard arm shipped with about 90 percent of there closers. This arm is for use with the 350, 1430, and 281 closers, and will work on the 1230 and 1250 models also.

Replacement Shoe Assembly for Norton 1600, 9300, 7500 and 8000 series door closers. And Yale 50, 2300, 8000 and 4400 series.

Corbin Russwin Regular Arm Parallel Bracket
The Corbin Russwin Regular Arm Parallel Bracket is the standard bracket shipped by them for the past 40 years. This replacement bracket will work on the older Corbin 100, 110, and 120's, and the Russwin 2800, 2810 and 2820's. Along with the DC3210 and DC6210 Door Closers. This bracket is required if your are going to use a parallel arm mounting, which is when you have the closer mounted on the door, on the push side of the door. Corbin Russwin part # 188F41-8.

LCN Door Closer Fusible Link Arm 3049FL
LCN Door Closer Fusible Link Arm
Adjustable nut allows door closer arm to lock when the preselect position is reached. Fusible Link will hold door until heat melts the "Link" and then the door will shut. Used on Fire Doors to control a spreading fire.
