LCN Door Closer Hold Open Arm 3049
The LCN Door Closer Hold Open Arm 3049 has an adjustable nut that allows the door closer arm to lock when they reach a pre select position. This arm can be used on most LCN Door Closers because the Hold Open function is in the arm. If you have a regular armed LCN Closer currently, you can use this arm to make them have the Hold Open function. Two words of warning, they can not be used on an interior fire rated door, and Hold Open arms usually break. The manufactures sell more door closers with regular arms, but we tend to sell more Hold Open arms, meaning they wear out or break a lot easier then Regular Arms.
Specify your current closers model number when ordering.
Not all of the LCN closers have the same shape spindle on the door closer cylinder. The LCN Part #'s on this Regular Arm is: 1260-3049 (non handed), 1460-3049 (non handed), 4010-3049 (handed), 4020-3049 (handed), 4040-3049 (non handed). The fitting for the 4040 is a six sided, the 4010, 4020 and 4110 have a flat sided oval, and the 1260 and 1460 have an eight sided star.3049--
