The Von Duprin Panic Device 55 Center Case 050183 is a replacement housing for the 55 Rim Device.  The housing includes all of the internal workings and latch bolt.  Von Duprin Part # 050183.

The Von Duprin 55 End Case is the housing on the hinge side of the door.   The function of this housing is to lift the cross bar, and support the function of the Active Case.  If your housing is on the right side when standing inside looking out, then you would order the Right Hand Case.  The package includes the housing, springs and back plate, the arm is not included.  The current part number on this part is 050196 and 050197, the old part number is 111931 and 111932.

The Von Duprin 8827 Top Latch Case 050460 is for non fire rated doors. A non fire rated device is one that has to positively latch every time it closes, you can usually tell, because a non fire rated device has the hex key dogging.  This is the part that may be causing your bottom latch to drag on the floor. The Top Latch does all the work on the Von Duprin 8827. When the Top Latch is retracted, it holds the rods in the retracted position.

The Von Duprin 88 Active Case 050409 is for use with the Rim Device, which is the model that has the latch bolt sticking out the side of the housing.  This version of the housing is for use on the 88EO (Exit Only), 88DT (Dummy Trim) and 88NL (Night Latch) models only.  Call or email if you need the Thumb Piece, Knob or Lever Version.  The Center Case includes all of the internal workings.

The Von Duprin 88 Center Case Rivet 090002 is also known as the Latch Tail Rivet used on the 88 Rim Device.  The Rivet fits into the spring and into the Latch Tail 050500.  The rivet measures 1-1/4 inches long less the head, with a 1/8 inch diameter.  We sell this piece individually.

The Von Duprin 55 Hinge Case Spring 090052 is the spring in the inactive case.  This spring does all of the lifting of the cross bar, and is used on the 55 Rim, 5547 Concealed Vertical Rod and 5575 Mortise Device.  It measures 1-5/8" long by 5/8" diameter.

The new Series 2670 Exit Alarm Lock provides secure protection through a large stainless steel deadbolt, which is 2" x 1/2" (51mm x 13mm) and has over a 3/4" (19mm) throw. The engagement area into the strike is over 1 1/4" (32mm) square inches. The cast aluminum latch case protects the internal mechanism and resists tampering or vandalism from inside the door. Covers stock hollow metal doors with 86 or 161 cutouts. The Von Duprin 9827 device has a smooth mechanism case and the Von Duprin 9927 device has a grooved case. The surface vertical rod device is non-handed.

Von Duprin 9875/9975 mortise lock device for all types of single or double doors, UL listed for Panic Exit Hardware. Devices are ANSI A156.3 – 2001 Grade 1. Fits stock hollow metal doors with 86 cutout and door stiles as narrow as 4-3/4" (121mm). The Von Duprin 9875 device has a smooth mechanism case and the Von Duprin 9975 device has a grooved case. The mortise lock device is non-handed

The Von Duprin 99 Rim Panic device has been around since the late 1970's and has gone through a couple of improvements.  One of the great things about the 99 is the availability of replacement parts.  Even when the device is upgraded, the upgraded parts will work with the older versions that can be close to 40 years old.  This device is for all types of single and double doors with mullions.  The device is UL Listed for Panic Exit Hardware and is considered Grade 1, the heaviest duty rating possible.  The Von Duprin 98 device has a smooth mechanism case and the Von Duprin 99 device has a grooved case. The rim device is non-handed, meaning it will work on Left and Right hand doors.   Ships with all the mounting screws and the 299 Strike.
