Dor-o-Matic Falcon 1690/1990 Traveler Assembly PB88

Doromatic 1990/1690 traveler assembly. The Traveler Assembly measures about 4-1/8" long, by 7/8" wide and 1/4" thick.  This bracket connects the rods to the exit device Doromatic Part # 4270100013 or PB88

The Von Duprin 499F is used on the 22, 98 and 99 Series Fire Rated Rim Devices when used with the 9954 Mullion.  A Fire Rated Device is one that does not have a dogging pin or screw to lock the door in the open position.

The Von Duprin 990DT Trim is known as a Dummy Trim.  This plate mounts on the exterior of the door, and the welded on mounting studs line up with the 99 device on the interior of the building.  If you have a different manufacture or a different Von Duprin series on the interior, it will not line up.  On the back of this plate we usually find the number 990 stamped on it.  The plate shown here is for the Rim and Surface Vertical Rod 99 and 98 devices.  If you have a Mortise or Concealed Vertical Rod, call us and we will order that model.  The plate measures 3" wide by 14-3/16" tall.  Order here for the 990DT-R&V.

The Von Duprin Strike 1609 strike is used when we have a double door application without a center post. By using this strike we can have one door with a surface vertical rod and one door a rim device, which will save money because vertical rods are usually expensive. This strike can be used with the Von Duprin 22/2227, 88/8827, 98/9827 and 99/9927 combinations. The strike base measures 1-1/16" wide by 3-1/4" high, the lip projects out 7/8". The three slots are 1-1/4" on center. This strike ships with the mounting screws.   This Strike is not rated for Fire Doors, which are usually interior corridor doors.

The Von Duprin 8827-F Top Latch Kit 050462 is the Top Latch Kit for the Von Duprin 8827-F. The 8827-F is the Fire Rated Surface Vertical Rod device usually used on interior doors to contain a fire. The Fire Rated version would not have dog screws to lock the device in the retracted postion.

The Falcon / Doromatic Door Closer SC91 is an affordable, high quality closer for residential or light commercial applications.  They used to be know as the Doromatic SC90, but in about 2008, they changed it to the Falcon SC91.  This closer offers adjustable closing, latching and back check speeds, along with adjustable spring tension.  It has the ability to be mounted on the push, pull or top jamb and is non handed.  This closer is considered a Grade 3 closer, which is the lightest grade you can get.   The hole spacing is 3/4” x 6-3/8”.  We ship the SC91 Rw/PA.

The Norton Door Closer 1601BF Barrier Free has been around for about 10 years. With the advent of aluminum framed glass doors, Norton was one of the first manufactures to come up with a narrow stile door closer. Because of this, it is still one of the most popular door closer models out there. It is a Grade 1 closer and has adjustable closing, latching, and back check speeds. The Barrier Free version just means you can turn the spring tension down to a size 1 spring, which will meet the ADA codes (less than 5 pounds of resistance). The model we ship also has adjustable spring tension to work on a wider range of doors. The hole spacing is 3/4” x 9-1/16”.

The Von Duprin 22 Mechanism End Cap 900981 is the end cap and bracket that ships with the 22 and 2227 series.  The bracket is constructed of zinc plated steel and the end cap is black plastic. The EL Dogging Rod connects the Solenoid to the Push Bar Bracket. The 4' designates the model it is used on. The 4' model is used on doors 48" down to 36". The Rod measures roughly 17" long. This rod is used on the 33A, 35A, 98 and 99 Exit Devices. Use part # G050531 if your door is equal or under 36".

The Norton Door Closer 8301 is sometimes called the Omni Door Closer.  This door closer features a cast aluminum body, is a Grade 1 closer and has adjustable closing, latching, and back check speeds.  This closer is a non sized closer, meaning you adjust the spring tension to meet closing requirement for a ADA Barrier Free application all the way up to a 48” exterior door.  You cover might have 8301/8301BF 3301/3301BF, but the new version will cover the BF and non BF closers.  The difference between this closer and the 8501 is the size of the plastic cover.  The 8301 has a slim cover, and the 8501 has full cover.  The hole spacing on this door closer is 3/4” x 12”.

International 8052-TP Delayed Action Door Closer

The International 8052-TP Delayed Action Door Closer is same  as the 8050 Series or 8051-TP, but with Delayed Action. Delayed Action is a function of the Door Closer hydraulic cylinder. The hydraulic cylinder will hold the door open for up to 30 seconds to allow physically challenged individuals time to get through the door way. The Von Duprin 99 Rim Panic device has been around since the late 1970's and has gone through a couple of improvements.  One of the great things about the 99 is the availability of replacement parts.  Even when the device is upgraded, the upgraded parts will work with the older versions that can be close to 40 years old.  This device is for all types of single and double doors with mullions.  The device is UL Listed for Panic Exit Hardware and is considered Grade 1, the heaviest duty rating possible.  The Von Duprin 98 device has a smooth mechanism case and the Von Duprin 99 device has a grooved case. The rim device is non-handed, meaning it will work on Left and Right hand doors.   Ships with all the mounting screws and the 299 Strike.

The Von Duprin 050534 EL Potted Circuit Breaker measures 5" long by 1-1/4" wide and 7/16" thick including the wires. This piece spikes the current to the solenoid to open the door, then lowers the current to keep the device open.  The 050534 has a plug for the two wire input, and a plug for the 3 wire output. This Potted Circuit Breaker is also used on the Doromatic/Falcon Exit Devices, EL1490, EL1590, EL1690, EL1790, and EL2390. We sometimes find the number 101031-00 and 2148 on a sticker.

The Falcon Doromatic Latch Screw PB17 is also known as the SCREW.1029 and the GPB17.  The screw is a 10-32-1/4" with an undercut head.  This screw is used to hold the top and bottom latches on the door for the 1690 and 1990 series devices.

The Von Duprin 22 End Cap Only 968601 is the end cap that goes on the hinge side of the door. When the cap breaks off the Dogging Cover Plate just slides off. Works on all of the Von Duprin 22 exit devices. If you need the bracket also, please order part # G22R10. Black plastic construction. As of October 1, 2014, Von Duprin no longer sells just the Plastic Cap Only. The complete End Cap and Bracket 900981 will be shipped in its place.

The Von Duprin 88 Tube Attaching Ring 090021 is also used on the Von Duprin 55.  The ring fits over the device lever arm, and is expanded by the Wedge (88R90) and the Wedge Tite Screw (88R100).  When the Wedge Tite Screw is tightened the Ring expands and keeps the crossbar parallel to the door.  Measures 15/16" long by 13/16" diameter.

Doromatic PB48 Strike Shim Package Of 10 Pieces

This Dor-o-Matic product is for the PB48 Top Strike. This is the shim that goes under the top strike. The plate measures 1" x 1-1/16" with 4 holes. The mounting holes are 11/16" x 11/16" on center. They are only sold in packages of 10.

The International Door Closer 9001-TP Series is a relatively newer closer.  This closer features fully adjustable spring tension, closing and latching speeds and back check.  The narrow design allows for mounting on the top jamb of store front doors without a drop plate.  The closer is non handed, and can be mounted on the push, pull  or top jamb positions.  It meets all ADA requirements and is a Grade 1 closer, the heaviest rating possible.
