If the Lead Time is a day, a week or more, then we will have to order your panic devices from the manufacturer's factory and they will ship from there.

Von Duprin 98 Exit Device
The Von Duprin 98 Rim Panic device has been around since the late 1970's and has gone through a couple of improvements. One of the great things about the 98 is the availability of replacement parts. Even when the device is upgraded, the upgraded parts will work with the older versions that can be close to 40 years old. This device is for all types of single and double doors with mullions. The device is UL Listed for Panic Exit Hardware and is considered Grade 1, the heaviest duty rating possible. The Von Duprin 98 device has a smooth mechanism case and the Von Duprin 99 device has a grooved case. The rim device is non-handed, meaning it will work on Left and Right hand doors. Ships with all the mounting screws and the 299 Strike.

Von Duprin 9927 Panic Device
Von Duprin 9827/9927 surface mounted vertical rod device for all types of single or double doors, UL listed for Panic Exit Hardware. Devices are ANSI A156.3 – 2001 Grade 1. Covers stock hollow metal doors with 86 or 161 cutouts. The Von Duprin 9827 device has a smooth mechanism case and the Von Duprin 9927 device has a grooved case. The surface vertical rod device is non-handed.

The Von Duprin 990DT Trim is known as a Dummy Trim. This plate mounts on the exterior of the door, and the welded on mounting studs line up with the 99 device on the interior of the building. If you have a different manufacture or a different Von Duprin series on the interior, it will not line up. On the back of this plate we usually find the number 990 stamped on it. The Von Duprin 990K Trim is known as a Knob Trim. This plate mounts on the exterior of the door, and the welded on mounting studs line up with the 99 device on the interior of the building. Von Duprin Panic Device 99 Lever Trim
The Von Duprin Panic Device 996L Lever Trim has an escutcheon plate that measures 2-3/4" wide by 10-3/4" high and projects out 27/32". The handle projection is 2-7/8". The key cylinder, not included, locks and unlocks the lever. This lever handle is handed, but is field reversible. Key lock and unlocks lever. We ship the 996L-R&V

The Von Duprin Panic Device 990NL Trim is known as a Night Latch Trim. This plate mounts on the exterior of the door, and the welded on mounting studs line up with the 99 device on the interior of the building. The key locks and unlocks the interior exit device. If you have a different manufacture or a different Von Duprin series on the interior, it will not line up. On the back of this plate we usually find the number 990 stamped on it. The Von Duprin 990TP Trim is known as a Thump Piece Trim. The key cylinder locks and unlocks the thumb piece, key cylinder sold separately. This plate mounts on the exterior of the door, and the welded on mounting studs line up with the 99 device on the interior of the building. If you have a different manufacture or a different Von Duprin series on the interior, it will not line up. On the back of this plate we usually find the number 990 stamped on it. The Von Duprin 88 Panic Device has been around since the 1950's, and is probably the device that put Von Duprin on the Map. It is designed for all types of single and double doors with mullions. It is field reversible, and ships with a 42" cross bar that can be cut down in the field. The device is dogged down with a 5/32" hex key, and ships with all mounting screws and the 299 strike.

The Von Duprin Panic Device 880NL Trim is for the 88 Series only. The stanchions welded on the back of the plate line up with the88 device on the interior. Optional key cylinder locks and unlocks the device, and can be used for dogging the door open. Plate measures 3" wide by 14-3/16" long, with an 1-5/8" bore for cylinder.

It is one of the most heavy duty cross bar devices made, and has been in production since at least the 1970's. It will fit on Stile widths of 1-3/4", and ships with all the mounting screws, dog key and the 1409 Surface Strike. The device is also non handed.

Von Duprin 5547EO Panic Hardware
The Von Duprin 5547 Concealed Vertical Rod Exit Device is used primarily on aluminum framed glass doors, otherwise known as Narrow Stile Doors. It is one of the most heavy duty cross bar devices made, and has been in production since at least the 1970's. It will fit on Stile widths of 1-3/4", and ships with all the mounting screws, dog key and all the necessary strikes. The device is also non handed.
To order select Finish and Type of Door Construction. For Metal Doors select Metal Door, for Wood Doors, make sure you select Wood Door, the Wood Door model has additional brackets for mounting.

Von Duprin 88 Active Case 050409
The Von Duprin 88 Active Case 050409 is for use with the Rim Device, which is the model that has the latch bolt sticking out the side of the housing. This version of the housing is for use on the 88EO (Exit Only), 88DT (Dummy Trim) and 88NL (Night Latch) models only. Call or email if you need the Thumb Piece, Knob or Lever Version. The Center Case includes all of the internal workings.

The Von Duprin Thumb Piece 970488 is just the thumb piece only, rivet not included. Cast bronze construction, and then plated to the selected finish. 5-1/8" overall length, but note that the length is usually cut down in the field depending on the thickness of your door.

The Von Duprin Pull Handle 972466/972467 replacement Grip/Handle only, screws not included. Cast bronze construction, and then plated to the selected finish. The Grip measures 15/16" wide by 6" long. The center to center hole spacing is 5-1/2". This handle works on the Von Duprin 608, 696, 880, and 990 outside trim plates.

The Cal Royal 4400 Thumbpiece Trim is for use on the 4400 Rim Device only. The plate measures 3-1/2 by 16 inches. The key locks or unlocks the thumbpiece. This plate ships with a 6 pin solid brass "C" keyway rim cylinder. And only comes in brushed chrome and dark bronze finishes.

Cal-Royal 4500 Series Lever Trim
The Cal-Royal 4500 Series Lever Trim is for use on the 45-RIM and 45-SVR Exit Devices. The Lever Trim is non handed and ships with a 6-pin C Keyway Cylinder. The function is Classroom, which means the key will lock or unlock the lever. The lever also incorporates a clutch function so the mechanism will not break when excessive force is applied to the lever.
