Von Duprin 99 Panic Device Only
The Von Duprin 99 Rim Panic device has been around since the late 1970's and has gone through a couple of improvements. One of the great things about the 99 is the availability of replacement parts. Even when the device is upgraded, the upgraded parts will work with the older versions that can be close to 40 years old. This device is for all types of single and double doors with mullions. The device is UL Listed for Panic Exit Hardware and is considered Grade 1, the heaviest duty rating possible. The Von Duprin 98 device has a smooth mechanism case and the Von Duprin 99 device has a grooved case. The rim device is non-handed, meaning it will work on Left and Right hand doors. Ships with all the mounting screws and the 299 Strike.

Von Duprin EL99 Panic Device Only
This is the same trusted Von Duprin 99 with Electric Latch Retraction, also known as EL.
The EL feature allows for the remote unlatching of exit devices. A control station operator can flip a switch to retract the latch bolt and immediately change an exit door to push-pull operation. A powerful, continuous duty solenoid retracts the latch bolt, either for momentary unlatching, or for extended periods of time. The EL feature is an alternative to manual dogging.
EL devices are also useful with automatic door operators, and may be applied to fire-rated applications when under the control of an automatic fire alarm system.
UL approved for Class II circuit applications.
The EL option does not include the power transfer from door to frame, the power supply, or the control operator. Refer to EPT-2 power transfer and the PS914 power supply.
The PS914 with the 9002RS option card is the minimum option card required. Other option cards available for other functions, see PS914 power supply for additional information.
Ships with all the mounting screws and the 299 Strike.
EL99EO-Von Duprin 9927 Panic Device
Von Duprin 9827/9927 surface mounted vertical rod device for all types of single or double doors, UL listed for Panic Exit Hardware. Devices are ANSI A156.3 – 2001 Grade 1. Covers stock hollow metal doors with 86 or 161 cutouts. The Von Duprin 9827 device has a smooth mechanism case and the Von Duprin 9927 device has a grooved case. The surface vertical rod device is non-handed.
9927EO-Von Duprin 9975 Panic Device Only
Von Duprin 9875/9975 mortise lock device for all types of single or double doors, UL listed for Panic Exit Hardware. Devices are ANSI A156.3 – 2001 Grade 1. Fits stock hollow metal doors with 86 cutout and door stiles as narrow as 4-3/4" (121mm). The Von Duprin 9875 device has a smooth mechanism case and the Von Duprin 9975 device has a grooved case. The Von Duprin Panic Device 996L Lever Trim has an escutcheon plate that measures 2-3/4" wide by 10-3/4" high and projects out 27/32". The handle projection is 2-7/8". The Von Duprin 990DT Trim is known as a Dummy Trim. This plate mounts on the exterior of the door, and the welded on mounting studs line up with the 99 device on the interior of the building. If you have a different manufacture or a different Von Duprin series on the interior, it will not line up. On the back of this plate we usually find the number 990 stamped on it. 99DT-Von Duprin Panic Device 990NL Trim
The Von Duprin Panic Device 990NL Trim is known as a Night Latch Trim. This plate mounts on the exterior of the door, and the welded on mounting studs line up with the 99 device on the interior of the building. The key locks and unlocks the interior exit device. If you have a different manufacture or a different Von Duprin series on the interior, it will not line up. On the back of this plate we usually find the number 990 stamped on it. 99TPVon Duprin Pull Handle 972466/972467
The Von Duprin Pull Handle 972466/972467 replacement Grip/Handle only, screws not included. Cast bronze construction, and then plated to the selected finish. The Grip measures 15/16" wide by 6" long. The center to center hole spacing is 5-1/2". This handle works on the Von Duprin 608, 696, 880, and 990 outside trim plates.

The Von Duprin Thumb Piece 970488 is just the thumb piece only, rivet not included. Cast bronze construction, and then plated to the selected finish. 5-1/8" overall length, but note that the length is usually cut down in the field depending on the thickness of your door.

The Von Duprin 99 Cover Plate 050114 is for use on the 33A, 35A, 98 and 99 devices. Covers the dogging assembly on the hinge side of the door. The usually fall off when the End Cap is not on the exit device. Von Duprin is only shipping a 20-1/2" cover plate now, which will work on 3' and 4' doors, you will have to cut more off if you have a 3' device with a hack saw or chop saw.

The Von Duprin ALK Alarm Kit converts the Von Duprin 22, 33A, 35A, 98 and 99 Devices to an alarmed exit device. When you exit the 85 decibel alarm will sound. Powered by a standard 9 volt battery and is controlled by a Mortise Cylinder with a straight cam. When battery is low, the alarm will beep.
