On solid doors, subtract 5" from the width of the door. All the fasteners are included, and are determined by the material your door is made of (wood or metal). Brushed Stainless Steel Door Kick Plate 18 Gauge .037
The Brushed Stainless Steel Door Kick Plate 18 Gauge .037 is the lightest duty stainless steel plate we offer . Stainless steel offers one of the best material for commercial applications. They are very hard, and do not dent easily. The also offer the best corrosion resistances out there. This plate is ideal as a replacement for Brushed Chrome kick plates. Brushed Chrome Kick Plates are usually a bronze plate that is chrome plated. The problem with bronze is it is a soft metal and dents easily. The stainless steel plates are a lot harder and more resistant to dents. Brushed chrome looks identical to brushed stainless steel. We only use type 304 stainless.
Stainless Steel Kick Plates can be mounted by screws, two way tape, and they can be glued to the door. Our plates come standard with screw mounting. The manufacture sends #6 x 5/8″ Oval Phillips Undercut Stainless Steel screws. The number of holes on the screw mounted plates is determined by an industry wide standardize template. A height between 6-10″ will have 10 holes for plates up to 33″ and 12 holes for plates between 33 and 40″.
You can order these plates with tape mounting, but on larger plates and especially plates with a stainless steel base metal, it is not recommended. Stainless Steel plates are too heavy and they most likely will not stick. We can also ship them with no holes, if you want to drill your own holes. Stainless Steel is very hard and a drill press would be recommended. You can glue them on, I would recommend liquid nails, and come C Clamps with the door on saw horses.

Full Mortise Double Swinging Spring Hinge
Used mainly for commercial kitchen doors, or any commercial double swinging door. Sold in sets of 2 hinges, they will handle doors up to 75 lbs that are 1-3/4" thick. If you door weighs between 75 and 107 lbs, you should use 3 hinges. The door flange is designed for a standard 4-1/2" x 4-1/2" template mortise. Hinges ship with wood and metal mounting screws. They come in a standard Painted Primed Finish Gray.
The jamb flange is .100" thick, the door flange is .134" thick and the barrel diameter is 1.18".

Full Mortise Spring Hinge
The Full Mortise Spring Hinge is found in many hotels and motels across the United States. They are an inexpensive way to meet Fire Codes. An internal adjustable spring in the hinge closes the door when they are opened. So instead of using a door closer, you can use these spring hinges. One draw back is you can not slow the door down and they will slam shut. We do not recommend these self closing hinges if your door swings more than 110 degrees, chances are the spring will break. The Lock Guard with Security Pin is ideal to cover the latchbolt area of the door, lock and frame, with the added protection of a security pin to prevent separation of the door and door frame. The plate is through bolted with carriage bolts and nuts, which are included with the guard. The plate is constructed of 13 gauge stainless steel.
