The LCN Door Closer 4111 is known as the Smoothee, and is one of the heaviest duty door closers made. If you have a building were you have a high traffic and abusive, especially exterior doors, then this is the closer. The 4111 is an application specific closer, meaning it will only work when mounted on the door, on the push side. This is known as a parallel arm application. The cylinder is fully adjustable and will work on doors up to 56" exterior door, and can be adjust down to ADA required levels. We ship the 4111 EDA model, which is a non hold open arm, on this page. The cylinder mounting holes are 2-1/2" by 6".

International 7300 Rim Device

Modern flat touch bar Rim Panic exit device. This series offers durability, safety and meets the security demand and access control needs of today. Series 7300 Rim Panic exit devices are used with Narrow, Medium and Wide aluminum door and Hollow Metal and Wood Door applications. Series 7300 is non-handed, Field Reversible for LHRB or RHRB doors. Outside Unlatching and Dogging by Cylinder Key or Dogging by Hex Key in Touch Bar. Standard Units for 36” and 48” in widths (cut bar to fit). Can be used on 30” wide doors.

The Yale Door Closer 4400 has been around for quite a long time, and was designed to replace the older 400, which are still made. The beauty of the 4400 is that is can be mounted left or right, push, pull or top jamb, were as the 4200 you had to specify all those attributes, which made stocking them a head ache. This is a Grade 1 closer, and is extremely durable. If you are looking for a 4400BF, the barrier free version, the new 4400 is barrier free, and will do the trick. This closer has a 2-3/8" x 6-3/4" hole spacing.

The LCN Door Closer 4041XP-HCUSH is the 4040XP, eXtra Protection closer with the 4040XP-3049HCUSH Hold Open Arm.  You get the same performance of one of the most revered closers with the functionality of the CUSH hold open arm.   The cylinder features cast iron construction, forged steel arm, double heat treated steel pinion, non-handed, LCN® “Green Dial” spring force indicator, Peel-n-Stick templates, UL and cUL Listed, 3⁄4″ journal diameter pinion, full compliment bearing, and tested and certified under ANSI standard A156.4, Grade 1.  With this package you have the flexibility to mount the closer on a left, right, but it has to be mounted in the push side of the door is a parallel arm type application.

The LCN Door Closer 1261 Series combines the best features from the previous 1070 and 1370 into a single versatile and economical cast iron closer, with Tri mounting capability. The 1261 is the door closer I would recommend if you are tired of replacing your store front door closers because of leakage.  The 1261 is the most heavy duty standard template closer that is made.  This door closer will work on the push, pull or top jamb, and is non handed.  The 1261 is adjustable spring sizes 1-5 and mounts to the most common commercial footprint. The 1261 also features a complete line of regular and extra duty arms, LCN’s peel-n-stick installation templates, a convenient spring adjust pointer.  The hole spacing is 3/4" x 9-1/16", so it is considered a standard template closer.  LCN also offers a 20 year warranty on this closer. The International Door Closer 8051-TP Series is an ideal replacement closer for just about any Store Front Door. We recommend this closer because it will fit any size door, and you can adjust the spring tension to make it easier for the elderly, smaller children and the handicapped. The Von Duprin 5547 Concealed Vertical Rod Exit Device is used primarily on aluminum framed glass doors, otherwise known as Narrow Stile Doors.   It is one of the most heavy duty cross bar devices made, and has been in production since at least the 1970's.  It will fit on Stile widths of 1-3/4", and ships with all the mounting screws, dog key and all the necessary strikes.  The device is also non handed.

The Sargent Door Closer 1431 is also known as the Powerglide.  This closer meets ADA requirements and has a capability to be mounted on the push, pull or top jamb, and is non handed.  This closer can be used as a direct replacement for the older version 1230 or 1231 Sargent Closers without having to re drill the mounting holes.  This closer has been the replacement for the 1230 since about 2000.  It is manufactured of an aluminum alloy.

Another feature is their well constructed shoe can be adjusted down as the rubber wears making the holder last way longer than their competitors. Another use for them is as a door floor lock if mounted on the other side of the door. Once kicked down there's no entry possible unless you slide a flat item under the door to lift the door holder leg out of the way and push the door open. It can be opened from the inside as normal with your foot or hand. A very inexpensive security lock.
