Norton PT24SOL 24 Volt Solenoid Assembly

If your Norton or Yale PowerTrack Door Closer is not holding the door open, this is usually the problem. To trouble shoot, first make sure you have voltage going to the solenoid. If you have voltage going in, and the door is still closing, then your solenoid is burned out. The solenoid is under constant voltage, so they do not last forever. The assembly measures 6-1/2" long by 1-1/8" wide with a height of 3/4". We sometime find the number F98024SH.1315 24 VDC on the solenoid.

The LCN 79 Door Closer Rod And Shoe  piece fits into the female part of all LCN Regular Arms. The old style had two concave set screws and a ball pressed into the rod. If the door over rotated the ball would pull out of the concave set screws. The new version has a pin holding the rod to the shoe which is designed to fail if the door is over rotated. This piece will work on the LCN 1260, 1460, 4010, 4020, 4030 and 4040 door closers with regular arms. Some of the really old models have multiple threaded holes, so you might have to drill a hole in the female tube. Part #'s 4040-79, 4040-79LR and 4040-79ELR. The 1260, 1460, 4010, or 4020 could replace the 4040 in those part numbers, they are the same.

The LCN Door Closer 4041XP-Hw/PA is the 4040XP, eXtra Protection closer with the 4040XP-3049 Hold Open Arm.  You get the same performance of one of the most revered closers with the functionality of the friction hold open arm.   The cylinder features cast iron construction, forged steel arm, double heat treated steel pinion, non-handed, LCN® “Green Dial” spring force indicator, Peel-n-Stick templates, UL and cUL Listed, 3⁄4″ journal diameter pinion, full compliment bearing, and tested and certified under ANSI standard A156.4, Grade 1.  With this package you have the flexibility to mount the closer on a left, right, push, pull or top jamb mount.  The hold open point is adjustable by loosening or tightening the hold open nut on the arm.

The Anodized Aluminum Neoprene Door Shoe is an aluminum U channel to mount on the bottom of doors.  The channel is 1 inch deep with a 1/2 inch neoprene seal on the bottom.  Fits over the bottom of 1-3/4 inch thick doors.  Ships in 36 or 48 inch lengths and comes with #6 x 3/4 inch stainless steel screws.

The Von Duprin 4954 7' 6" Steel Mullion  is the standard mullion used on most double doors with the Von Duprin Exit Devices.  Mullions are easily removed by loosening bottom set screw and removing top fitting cover.  The steel mullions are 2" wide and 3" deep, with an 1/8" thickness construction.  We ship the 7'6" mullion, if you need the 8'6" or 10'6", please call.  Package includes the 050390 and 050335 top and bottom brackets.

The LCN 4040SE Sentronic Door Closer is a heavy duty, non-handed, non-sized closer/holder designed to provide single point hold-open for fire and smoke barrier doors. The door is held open until current interruption releases the holding mechanism and the door closes. Single lever (track) arm closer is specifically designed for interior doors. Choice of finishes, track functions, and installation accessories meet virtually all life safety requirements.  The SE stands for Single Point Electronic, with this closer the hold open point can only be one point, so the closer has to be positioned on the door to get the proper hold open point.

This technology has been around since 1972, but back then you would order the 4110SE or 4010SE.  These were  application specific closers, so you had to specify the hand of the door, door size,  and the type of mounting.  If you do have an older version, the 4040SE will replace it.

With the Handicap Door Pull 18 you are able to get a closed fist behind the pull, which makes it a great ADA Door Pull. Shipped with screws. Also known as a Single Arm Pull, Handicap Grip, ADA Door Pull or Handle.  The handle is constructed of cast aluminum, or brass and then plated. The 1261 is the door closer I would recommend if you are tired of replacing your store front door closers because of leakage.  The 1261 is the most heavy duty standard template closer that is made.  This door closer will work on the push, pull or top jamb, and is non handed.  The 1261 is adjustable spring sizes 1-5 and mounts to the most common commercial footprint. The 1261 also features a complete line of regular and extra duty arms, LCN’s peel-n-stick installation templates, a convenient spring adjust pointer.  The hole spacing is 3/4" x 9-1/16", so it is considered a standard template closer.  LCN also offers a 20 year warranty on this closer. The Adams Rite 8800EL Electric Latch Retraction Panic Hardware is the same as the 8800, but with an internal solenoid to retract the latch-bolt.   This is a very popular device in the Hotel Industry and is usually used in conjunction with a card reader. 

The 8800 features the Starwheel locking bolt that interlocks door to the door frame.  The 36" version is in stock, we can also get the 30", 42" and 48" devices, lead time is 2-3 weeks.  This device is used exclusively on aluminum framed glass storefront doors.  Replacement parts are available.

4" Kickdown Door Holder FS544

The H.B. Ives FS544 Kick Down Door Holder has been a staple in schools for many years due to its heavy duty construction and inexpensive price.  This is one of our most popular Kickdown Door Holder/Stop for the past 35 years.  It is constructed of durable cast iron, which has great strength characteristics.  The shoe is made of a non-marring rubber, which is replaceable.  The shoe is also held in place with a screw, which makes it a great option in schools and area of high vandalism.  This holder will work on door to floor clearances of 2" or less.  The hole spacing is 7/8" x 1-9/16".

The LCN 1370 was a door closer made in the late 1990's to 2006 or so. The closer had a special mounting plate that made installation very quick. Many people have this door closer in use and now they are starting to fail. The LCN 1370-18QF Quick Fix Plate converts the mounting holes of the 1370 to a standard template closer, which is 3/4" x 9-1/16". By using this plate you will not have to redrill holes in your door. The plate measures 2 by 10-1/4 inches with tapped holes that measure 3/4 x 9-1/16 inch. 

The Door Pull Handle 14 has 5-1/2" centers on the mounting screws. And has a 2" diameter base. It features a 2-1/4" projection with a 1-1/2" clearance. Also known as a Door Handle or Door Grip. The handle ships with thru bolts and finish washers.

The SEM7840 LCN Electro Magnetic Door Holder features a metal die cast housing that is surface wall mounted. Tri-voltage design works with 12, 24 or 120 volts, with 35 lbs. of holding force. The magnet housing measures 2-13/16" wide by 4-5/8" high. The armature (door mount part) is 1-11/16" wide by 2-3/8" high with a 1-7/8" diameter. The armature projects out 1-5/8". SEM7850-828 Armature for LCN Electro Magnetic Door Holder features a metal die cast construction armature. The armature (door mount part) is 1-11/16" wide by 2-3/8" high with a 1-7/8" diameter. The armature projects out 2-5/8". Available in an aluminum or dark bronze color.  Armature extensions are available, along with replacement covers, magnets, and armatures.

The Von Duprin Strike 1609 strike is used when we have a double door application without a center post. By using this strike we can have one door with a surface vertical rod and one door a rim device, which will save money because vertical rods are usually expensive. This strike can be used with the Von Duprin 22/2227, 88/8827, 98/9827 and 99/9927 combinations. The strike base measures 1-1/16" wide by 3-1/4" high, the lip projects out 7/8". The three slots are 1-1/4" on center. This strike ships with the mounting screws.   This Strike is not rated for Fire Doors, which are usually interior corridor doors.

This Yale Latch Assembly is used on fire rated panic devices. A fire rated panic is a device were you can not lock the latch in the open position. It is used on doors were the engineers want the door to latch every time it closes to contain a fire.

The Norton Door Closer 7701-13 Hold Open Loop Assembly is usually the part that breaks on the Norton 1600, 9300, 8301, 8501 and 7500 Hold Open Door Closers.  The cast iron piece attached to the disk is where they usually break.  This part has had a few part numbers over the years, for Norton it has been known as the 1620-13 and 7701-13, and for Yale the 400-13.

The EL Dogging Rod connects the Solenoid to the Push Bar Bracket. The 4' designates the model it is used on. The 4' model is used on doors 48" down to 36". The Rod measures roughly 17" long. This rod is used on the 33A, 35A, 98 and 99 Exit Devices. Use part # G050531 if your door is equal or under 36".
