Adams Rite 8800 Panic Device

The Adams Rite 8800EL Electric Latch Retraction Panic Hardware is the same as the 8800, but with an internal solenoid to retract the latch-bolt.   This is a very popular device in the Hotel Industry and is usually used in conjunction with a card reader.

The Dor-o-Matic 1690/1990 Top Strike PB48 is used on the Dor-o-Matic 1690, 1990 and 2390 Concealed Vertical Rod Exit and Panic Devices. The plate measures 1" x 1-1/16" with 4 holes. The mounting holes are 11/16" x 11/16" on center. The diameter of the pin is 7/16" and projects out 5/32". The Dor-O-Matic 1690/1790/1990/2090 Pinion PB5 has been in use since the 1970's.  This gear or pinion is what activates the latch or the rods on the 990, 1090, 1690, 1790, 1990 and 2090 devices.  The Dor-o-Matic Panic Devices have been around since the late 1960’s, but have most recently been known as the Falcon Panic Device from a name change they had in about 2008.  They are the same device, with the same parts, just a different name plate.  The manufacture part number on this is CAM.102, PB5 or PB140.

The Door Pull Handle 16 has an overall length of 7-1/2". The base diameters are 2" with three holes each. The handle projects out 2-1/4" and has a clearance of 1-1/2". Also known as a Door Grip or Door Handle. This handle ships with 6 wood/sheet metal screws.

The Dor-O-Matic 1690/1790/1990/2090 Cylinder Bushing BUSH.102 fits around the Pinion gear to take up slack and reduce friction.  This piece is now known as the Falcon Panic Hardware BUSH.102, but for many years was called the Dor-o-Matic PB46.

The Dor-o-Matic 1690/1990 Retractor PB35 has been used since the 1970's.  The manufacture has changed names in the last 5 years and now goes by Falcon Panic Hardware. This piece is used the 990, 1690 and 1990 devices.  The pinion rides inside this bracket to raise and lower the internal rods. Parts used with the retractor are the Pinion (G199005), Traveller (G199028) and the Pinion Bushing (G199046). Retractor measures 1-7/8" long by 7/8" wide by 1/4" thick.

ADA Sliding and Barn Door Push/Pull Set. Pull handle is 3/4" round stock with 6" center to centers and 2-1/2 inch clearance.  The flush pull is 4" x 7" x 1-1/8 inch ADA.

The Door Pull Offset #39 Handle is constructed of either solid aluminum, brass or stainless steel. The handle is 1" diameter tubing with a 2-3/4" offset and 2-3/4" projection. This is the most common type of handle you use today.  Just about every aluminum framed storefront door has a version of this handle. This handle is available in 8", 10", 12" and 18" centers on the mounting holes. The back to back mounting is for Metal or Wood Doors that are 1-3/4 thick. Included fastener is threaded into one of the handles, and the Stud End has fits into the inside handle and is held in place by a set screw on the handle.

Package includes two offset pull handles and fastening hardware. Shown in Polished Stainless Steel with 12 inch centers.

Falcon Doromatic 1690, 1790, and 2390 replacement dogging assy. The dogging assembly is used to dog the door in the open position, so people can enter the building without having to unlatch the door for the inside or with a key on the outside.  The KIT.1197 comes complete with mounting screws.   Some of the earlier version where riveted into the rail, so you might need to drill out the rivets, the screws shipped with KIT.1197 have self tapping thread forming screws.

The Adams Rite EX88 Interlocking Rim Exit Device is designed for heavy duty use on narrow stile aluminium door applications. The EX88 has a unique latch bolt design that interlocks with the frame of the door. This device is non handed, requires a minimum stile width of 2" and will work on aluminum, hollow metal or wood doors.The device is constructed of extruded aluminum with matching metal angled end caps. On this Adams Rite End Cap we sometimes find the number HX0471 cast into the Black Plastic construction.  It measures 2-3/8" high by 1" deep, with a projection of 1-1/4". It is used on the 8099, 8100, 8200, 8300, 8400, 8500, 8600, 8700, 8800 and 8900.

The Adams Rite 8600 Concealed Vertical Rod is designed for narrow stile aluminum framed glass doors.  The device will fit on stile widths of 2" or more.   We recommend this device for replacement only, modifying your existing door to this exit device will be labor intensive.  The 8611 would be for the aluminum finish and the 8622 would be or the dark bronze finish.  We try to keep the Aluminum and Dark Bronze in stock in the 36" and 48" devices.
