The Von Duprin 99 Rim Panic device has been around since the late 1970's and has gone through a couple of improvements.  One of the great things about the 99 is the availability of replacement parts.  Even when the device is upgraded, the upgraded parts will work with the older versions that can be close to 40 years old.  This device is for all types of single and double doors with mullions.  The device is UL Listed for Panic Exit Hardware and is considered Grade 1, the heaviest duty rating possible.  The Von Duprin 98 device has a smooth mechanism case and the Von Duprin 99 device has a grooved case. The control link pin is the connector pin, that connects the latch head assembly to the push bar assembly. When the push bar is pushed in it retracts the latch bolt and the pin connects the two pieces. This Control Link Pin is used on the Von Duprin 22, 33A, 98 and 99 Panic Devices.

The Von Duprin 107765 Plunger Release Bracket is used with the Fire Rated 8827-F Top Latch.  When the door closes, the Release Pin on the 88VR10-F (050462) hits the post and releases the latch from the retracted position.  Once the top latch is released, it drops the bottom latch into the floor.

The Von Duprin 88 Active Case 050409 is for use with the Rim Device, which is the model that has the latch bolt sticking out the side of the housing.  This version of the housing is for use on the 88EO (Exit Only), 88DT (Dummy Trim) and 88NL (Night Latch) models only.  Call or email if you need the Thumb Piece, Knob or Lever Version.  The Center Case includes all of the internal workings.

Von Duprin NL Drive Screw 090074

The 090074 NL Drive Screw is used on the Von Duprin 22, 98 and 99 Exit Devices to control the rotation of the key cylinder cam. This small set screw, screws into the back of the chassis assembly next to the receptor for the Rim Key Cylinder. The set screw measures 5/16" long by 3/16" diameter. Note: When the NL drive screw is left in back of device, the outside cylinder will function only as a Night Latch. The Night Latch function means the door can only be opened, but not dogged open with the key cylinder.

The Von Duprin 88 Center Case Rivet 090002 is also known as the Latch Tail Rivet used on the 88 Rim Device.  The Rivet fits into the spring and into the Latch Tail 050500.  The rivet measures 1-1/4 inches long less the head, with a 1/8 inch diameter.  We sell this piece individually.

This Von Duprin 386NL Night Latch Trim is just a pull handle. The bolt pattern of the trim plate lines up with the Von Duprin 33A on the inside so they are on cohesive unit. The base plate measures 7-15/16" by 1-5/8". The grip measures 8-1/2" by 4-5/16" with a 2-7/16" projection. This 386NL Night Latch Trim is handed. Uses a standard Rim Cylinder.

The Von Duprin 106222 Racket Release Kit is used on the 3347, 3547, 9847 and 9947 Exit Devices.   The pin that projects from the block releases the top latch when the door closes, and locks the door shut.

Von Duprin 6112 24 VDC Electric Strike

Von Duprin 6100 Series electric strikes are designed for use with Rim devices.  The 6112 has a 3/4” latch bolt throw, 9” face plate length, 1-5/8” width, and an 1-3/4” backbone depth.  The lock retrofits the Folger Adams FA 310-4.  Other voltages and replacement parts are available.

The new Series 2670 Exit Alarm Lock provides secure protection through a large stainless steel deadbolt, which is 2" x 1/2" (51mm x 13mm) and has over a 3/4" (19mm) throw. The engagement area into the strike is over 1 1/4" (32mm) square inches. The cast aluminum latch case protects the internal mechanism and resists tampering or vandalism from inside the door. This Von Duprin Strike 304L Bottom Strike is used for the bottom latch of the 2227, 8827, 9827 and 9927. The strike measures 1-7/8" by 1-7/8" out dimension of the square flange, with an inside dimension of 1-1/8" by 1-1/8". The part that is inserted into the floor is 1-5/16" x 1-5/16" and drops down 13/16". Also known as a Von Duprin Floor Mounted Mortise Strike.

The Von Duprin Panic Device 990NL Trim is known as a Night Latch Trim.  This plate mounts on the exterior of the door, and the welded on mounting studs line up with the 99 device on the interior of the building.  The key locks and unlocks the interior exit device.  If you have a different manufacture or a different Von Duprin series on the interior, it will not line up.  On the back of this plate we usually find the number 990 stamped on it.  The plate shown here is for the Rim and Surface Vertical Rod 99 and 98 devices.  If you have a Mortise or Concealed Vertical Rod, call us and we will order that model.  The plate measures 3" wide by 14-3/16" tall.   Order here for the 990NL-R&V.  The key cylinder is sold separately.
