The Von Duprin 98 Rim Panic device has been around since the late 1970's and has gone through a couple of improvements.  One of the great things about the 98 is the availability of replacement parts.  Even when the device is upgraded, the upgraded parts will work with the older versions that can be close to 40 years old.  This device is for all types of single and double doors with mullions.  The device is UL Listed for Panic Exit Hardware and is considered Grade 1, the heaviest duty rating possible.  The Von Duprin 98 device has a smooth mechanism case and the Von Duprin 99 device has a grooved case. The rim device is non-handed, meaning it will work on Left and Right hand doors.   Ships with all the mounting screws and the 299 Strike.

The Von Duprin 050335 1654/4954 Top Mullion Fitting and Cover are the replacement top fittings for the 1654 and 4954 removable mullions.

The Von Duprin 4954 7' 6" Steel Mullion  is the standard mullion used on most double doors with the Von Duprin Exit Devices.  Mullions are easily removed by loosening bottom set screw and removing top fitting cover.  The steel mullions are 2" wide and 3" deep, with an 1/8" thickness construction.  We ship the 7'6" mullion, if you need the 8'6" or 10'6", please call.  Package includes the 050390 and 050335 top and bottom brackets.

Von Duprin 6111 24VDC Electric Strike

Von Duprin 6100 Series electric strikes are designed for use with Rim devices. The model 6111 retrofits model number VD 3031, and measures 1-5/8” wide, 6” high and has a backbox depth of 1-3/4”.    Other voltages and replacement parts are available. 

FSE - Fail-secure.  Requires power to be applied to unlock the strike lip.  On loss of power, the strike lip is locked-Fire Rated

FS - Fail-safe.  Requires power to be applied to lock the strike lip.  On loss of power, the strike lip is unlocked.  Non Fire-Rated.

Von Duprin 6112 24 VDC Electric Strike

Von Duprin 6100 Series electric strikes are designed for use with Rim devices.  The 6112 has a 3/4” latch bolt throw, 9” face plate length, 1-5/8” width, and an 1-3/4” backbone depth.  The lock retrofits the Folger Adams FA 310-4.  Other voltages and replacement parts are available.

The Von Duprin 107765 Plunger Release Bracket is used with the Fire Rated 8827-F Top Latch.  When the door closes, the Release Pin on the 88VR10-F (050462) hits the post and releases the latch from the retracted position.  Once the top latch is released, it drops the bottom latch into the floor.

The Von Duprin 5654 Aluminum Mullion 7'2" comes prepped for two of the 299 strikes.  The removable mullion also ships with the 154 Mullion Stabilizers.  Mullions are 11/16" wide on face closest to the door and 2-3/8" at the widest point. The depth is 3-1/8" with a wall thickness of 1/8 ́ ́.  The 5654 is constructed of aluminum.  Everything is included, except the the 299 strikes.  The taller ones are also available, please call for pricing.

33A and 35A for all types of single and double doors with mullion, UL listed for Panic Exit Hardware. Devices are ANSI A156.3 – 2001 Grade 1. The 35A has a smooth mechanism case and the 33A has grooved case. 33A/35A fits door stiles as narrow as 1 3/4". Newly designed device has a one piece center case cover.

The Von Duprin 88 Panic Device has been around since the 1950's, and is probably the device that put Von Duprin on the Map.  It is designed for all types of single and double doors with mullions.  It is field reversible, and ships with a 42" cross bar that can be cut down in the field.  The device is dogged down with a 5/32" hex key, and ships with all mounting screws and the 299 strike.

The Von Duprin Panic Device 55 Center Case 050183 is a replacement housing for the 55 Rim Device.  The housing includes all of the internal workings and latch bolt.  Von Duprin Part # 050183.

The Von Duprin 88 Active Case 050409 is for use with the Rim Device, which is the model that has the latch bolt sticking out the side of the housing.  This version of the housing is for use on the 88EO (Exit Only), 88DT (Dummy Trim) and 88NL (Night Latch) models only.  Call or email if you need the Thumb Piece, Knob or Lever Version.  The Center Case includes all of the internal workings.

The Von Duprin Panic Device Keyed Mullion Retrofit Kit KR54 is used to convert the 1654 and 4954.  Keyed Removable Steel Mullions makes removal faster and easier by a single operation of the mortise cylinder. Once mullion is removed, large equipment or furniture can freely pass through the opening. The unit will self lock when re-installed, without use of the cylinder key. Uses a 1-1/4´´mortise cylinder with a straight cam (Schlage cam reference B502-191). Cylinders are sold separately.

Heavy Duty Design
The new Series 2670 Exit Alarm Lock provides secure protection through a large stainless steel deadbolt, which is 2" x 1/2" (51mm x 13mm) and has over a 3/4" (19mm) throw. The engagement area into the strike is over 1 1/4" (32mm) square inches. The cast aluminum latch case protects the internal mechanism and resists tampering or vandalism from inside the door. This unit has been tested to withstand up to 1600 pounds of static load force against the door.

The Von Duprin Panic Device 996L Lever Trim has an escutcheon plate that measures 2-3/4" wide by 10-3/4" high and projects out 27/32". The handle projection is 2-7/8". The key cylinder, not included, locks and unlocks the lever.  This lever handle is handed, but is field reversible. Key lock and unlocks lever.  We ship the 996L-R&V

The Von Duprin 990K Trim is known as a Knob Trim.  This plate mounts on the exterior of the door, and the welded on mounting studs line up with the 99 device on the interior of the building.  If you have a different manufacture or a different Von Duprin series on the interior, it will not line up.  On the back of this plate we usually find the number 990 stamped on it.  The key locks and unlocks the knob.  The plate shown here is for the Rim and Surface Vertical Rod 99 and 98 devices.  If you have a Mortise or Concealed Vertical Rod, call us and we will order that model.  The plate measures 3" wide by 14-3/16" tall.   Order here for the 990K-R&V.
