Von Duprin 22, 33, And 99 Dogging Shaft 090040
The Von Duprin 22, 33, And 99 Dogging Shaft 090040 is the peice that the hex dogging key would fit into. The shaft is for a 5/32" dog key, but it has to be the long version. The shorter versions will not have enough reach to get all the way into the shaft. This is a very common problem area, the hole that the key fits in is only about 1/4" deep, and if you do not push down on the hex key when locking it open it will round out over time. To remove the shaft, just pull it straight out with a part of channel locks. We reinstalling the new one you might have to bend the ends of the adapter spring 090042 back down. This dogging shaft is for use on all Von Duprin Panic Exit Devices shipped after 1997.

Von Duprin 9927 Bottom Vertical Rod 110574
The Von Duprin 9927 Bottom Vertical Rod 110574 is the replacement rod for broken or bent vertical rods. All of the 9927 bottom rods are the same length, this is set by Federal Building Codes, so the center line of the Panic Hardware is a certain height from the finished floor. The length of the rod is 31-1/4" long, less the fittings. The old part number on this was 110574, and the newer one is 050514.

Von Duprin Panic Device 99 Knob Trim
The Von Duprin 990K Trim is known as a Knob Trim. This plate mounts on the exterior of the door, and the welded on mounting studs line up with the 99 device on the interior of the building. If you have a different manufacture or a different Von Duprin series on the interior, it will not line up. On the back of this plate we usually find the number 990 stamped on it. The key locks and unlocks the knob. The plate shown here is for the Rim and Surface Vertical Rod 99 and 98 devices. Von Duprin EL99 Panic Device Only
This is the same trusted Von Duprin 99 with Electric Latch Retraction, also known as EL.
The EL feature allows for the remote unlatching of exit devices. A control station operator can flip a switch to retract the latch bolt and immediately change an exit door to push-pull operation. A powerful, continuous duty solenoid retracts the latch bolt, either for momentary unlatching, or for extended periods of time. The EL feature is an alternative to manual dogging.
EL devices are also useful with automatic door operators, and may be applied to fire-rated applications when under the control of an automatic fire alarm system.
UL approved for Class II circuit applications.
The EL option does not include the power transfer from door to frame, the power supply, or the control operator. Refer to EPT-2 power transfer and the PS914 power supply.
The PS914 with the 9002RS option card is the minimum option card required. Other option cards available for other functions, see PS914 power supply for additional information.
Ships with all the mounting screws and the 299 Strike.

The mounting holes are 11/16" x 11/16" on center. The diameter of the pin is 7/16" and projects out 5/32". Ships with mounting screws and 3 shim plates. The Dor-o-Matic Panic Devices have been around since the late 1960’s, but have most recently been known as the Falcon Panic Device from a name change they had in about 2008. They are basically the same device, with the same parts, just a different name plate. Falcon part # PB48.

Falcon/Monarch 19 Series Hex Dogging Assembly and Cover have been changed. As of April 12, 2022 the kit now includes a new style dogging assembly also.
We know this kit will work on the 19/24/25 Series, and are not sure if it will work on the Monarch 17/18 Series Dogging Cover goes over the dogging mechanism on the hinge side of the exit device. Sometimes when the end cap goes missing, this cover plate also disappears.

The Dor-o-Matic Panic Devices have been around since the late 1960’s, but have most recently been known as the Falcon Panic Device from a name change they had in about 2008. They are the same device, with the same parts, just a different name plate. The manufacture part number on this is CAM.102, PB5 or PB140.
